WASHINGTON — House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., said Monday that Democrats will push for a vote-by-mail provision in Congress' next coronavirus relief package.
In an interview on MSNBC’s LIVE with Stephanie Ruhle, Pelosi said that it's important to protect the “life of our democracy” as the coronavirus crisis continues.
“In this next bill, we will be supporting vote by mail in a very important way -- we think it’s a health issue at this point,” Pelosi said.
Democrats have been for weeks pushing vote-by-mail ahead of the May and June primary contests— over a dozen of which had been postponed due to coronavirus— and as they look ahead to the November election.
President Donald Trump, however, opposes the idea and has urged Republicans to fight the effort.
A recent NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll found that a majority of voters — 58 percent — are in favor of allowing voters nationwide to cast their ballots by mail.

Mr Trump needs to save them a lot of time right now and tell them that he will veto any such bill- no mater what.

There is already A VOTE BY MAIL system in place.

Nah... no way. If I can still go to Lowes or Walmart, I can take my ass to a voting location and vote. I’ll wear the darned mask. I’ll wear the stupid gloves. I’ll stay 6 ft apart, but I won’t accept vote by mail which will only ensure a loss this year via cheating, lying and out right theft.
Pelosi is talking about the post office delivering a mail-in ballot to each voter. That’s completely different from absentee voting where you have to request a ballot.
My questions: will polling places still be open? what prevents me from mailing in my ballot and then showing up in person to vote?
The Republic will end if this passes. Of course, that is their goal.

I’m pretty sure Trump won’t sign anything with that in it. He has to focus and get America back on track by August so there’ll be no excuse for any of the social distance crap to be an issue.
Speaking of crap, this morning my preacher’s-wife, 96-year-old mother asked, “When is this CRAP going to be over?!” I died laughing. About 25 years ago she said, “damn”, and still apologizes for it. So... she’s had enough.

I’m sorry but as long as the President inexplicably has Mr. Magoo Mnuchin surrendering during every negotiation with the RATS, Pelosi is going to get what she wants.
I heard an LA County Supervisor, Janice Hahn, on the radio last week. She outlined how ‘Vote-By-Mail’ would work. It would require each County to mail an active ballot to EVERY REGISTERED VOTER. Never mind if those registered voters are legally allowed to vote. And once those active ballots are mailed out, the ballot harvesting by all the Dem activists will begin.

At least that is how it worked in Arizona in 2018. Signatures aren’t even remotely close to the signature on file? No worries! Just call the number and ask if the person voted. If the answer is yes, the vote counts. That is why we have a Dem Senator and are on the verge of having another Dem Senator, former astronaut Mark Kelly Giffords.

And when the Arizona Legislature voted for a Bill that would only allow a relative to fill out a loved one’s ballot, a Leftist judge shot it down. The criminals are taking over our country.......I weep for our Republic.

Throw in motor voter registration with no checks and balances, same day registration and voting on election day and vote harvesting and you have rampant fraud that only gets dimrats elected.
