Why should the people and taxpayers of America be bailing out poorly run states (like Illinois, as example) and cities, in all cases Democrat run and managed, when most of the other states are not looking for bailout help? I am open to discussing anything, but just asking?

Blame the Democrats for any “lateness” in your Enhanced Unemployment Insurance. I wanted the money to be paid directly, they insisted it be paid by states for distribution. I told them this would happen, especially with many states which have old computers.

People want to see him instilling hope and getting the economy reopened. The latest tweets have not been helpful.
***Our State Rep had a town hall call last Friday with people administering this...they all stated Pa was just not set up to distribute the funds and it has taken this long to get it ready. I understand they now are ready and things should be pushed out this week. Also they have a we site you can reach to get phone numbers for inquiry

And states were getting by until the economy crashed and their tax revenue predictions went out the window. What is going to happen in November if states are forced to open schools in the fall with far fewer teaches than they need but can't afford to hire because of budget cuts? What about fewer police and fire for the same reason? Slashes to state services in all areas and all levels because their tax revenue is way down and Trump and McConnell refused to provide federal assistance? What kind of hay do you think the Democrats will make from that? And how many Senate and House seats do you think it will cost Republicans?

Does Trump still not get it? They are slow walking it to drag it out as much as possible and to inflict as much pain as possible. The rats know Trump gets blamed not “old computers”.

My state shut down all "non-essential" businesses. The "non-essential" businesses didn't shut down the state.
The good news is that the most fouled-up states are almost all deep “blue” states anyway. With the exception of Ohio and Pennsylvania, the states where the COVID-19 response has been most poorly managed are heavily Democratic states.
When he was instilling hope and talking about the opening of the economy, did you remember how the media reacted?
