just doing what Woodward and Bernstein inspired my generation and the generations that followed to always do: seek the best obtainable version of the truth.

The best version of the truth that fits their agenda.

...just doing what Woodward and Bernstein inspired...

All they did was report illegal and unethical FBI leaks. Felt is his name I believe. No different than Crossfire Hurricane.

I knew that the train was going to run off the tracks in the late 1980s when I heard an interview with a “journalism student” at University of Missouri (supposedly one of the top “journalism schools in the country,) that the reason she wanted to become a journalist was “to make the world a better place.”

I’ll never forget that. I was driving home from school in New York, nearly home, north of Kansas City, having stopped off at a DQ at an exit on I-29, and was waiting in the drive-through for a cherry Mr. Misty, and I heard that on Chuck Harder’s “For the People” syndicated radio show.

I was aghast. And I still remember it clearly, a bit more than 30 years later!
