Yeah—I am a bonafide “Fearper” but Hawaii has solved 95% of the problem by keeping tourists out.
They should be able to open up with masks with minimal consequences.
This is the easiest scenario there is—keep tourists out, let the locals be....
Any arrivals , and now continuing thru the end of May , any & all arrivals have to totally quarantine for 14 days in their accommodation . People arrive , agree and then sneak out . They are ‘reported’ ,then arrested ,and after the 2nd offence, put on a plane ,at their expense , sent away.With almost zero rent-a-cars on the roads they stand out like sore thumbs. Who will visit in such draconian conditions? Most airlines have stopped flying and most won’t return until there is a mutually agreed ‘green light’, or August (maybe) , whichever comes first
