Not so sure that Hawaii didn’t make the right decision. The four times I’ve been there I have felt like I was the minority. The Islands are full of Chinese tourists. It seems that are the major portion of the tourist trade there. That being said maybe since the travel ban on China was implemented it isn’t an issue any longer.

Key takeaway. These data make the containment strategy a joke. Expanded testing will just continue to increase the number of cases fueled by millions of asymptomatic people. Add to that the new antibody testing that will reveal who has already had the disease and you wind up with these huge numbers. Tracking and tracing becomes a mindless and futile exercise. It is like shoveling sand against the tide.
End the ridiculous house arrests now. Set up measures to protect the elderly and those with underlying conditions and let the rest of the country get back to work.

I’m not sure if Trump has a personal issue with Kemp, but him taking two occasions in front of the Fake News to admonish a GOP Governor for looking after his people was a very bad move IMO. It has the potential to make other Governors and Mayors skittish about opening, and gives the Fake News red meat.
I think President Trump needs to visit some of these states being decimated by these closures, and the suffering taking place among the citizenry. Maybe this will help clear his mind from the Svengali like affect that Fauci and Birx appear to have on him.

You are right but already some of the few places that have reopened report land office business. We are going to come back stronger than anyone ever thought and will make up losses before the end of the year.

Trump’s only human. He needs more than support from us Trumpers. He deserves and needs support from elected Republicans, but most are gutless bastards and hiding in his shadow. Cruz is the only one I see out there fighting Trump’s foes. Can’t say enough bad things about Mitch. No judges confirmed in months. No support. Linda has not carried forward on any of the promises to start hearings on such and so. They are ALL conspiring to bring down our leader. They can’t wait. And even when Trump is reelected, it will not be any more comfortable for him than the first term has been. Constant hectoring and investigations, impeachments over and over. Senate will likely go D but still not enough votes to remove him from office. That is Trump’s blessing but also his curse.
