You are right, that was poor phrasing on my part.
Your question was valid before and after the interchanges.
I’m one of those weirdo’s, who feels that I got introduced to this virus 2 days before Thanksgiving, and it stayed around/with until just after New Years.
During our family Christmas celebrations, if I had this critter I passed it on an adult son and a 19 year old grandson.
None of the women in our family had anything beside sniffles during this time period.
I mentioned this to a Doctor friend/neighbor yesterday as we discussed how the local hospital was reopening to same day care stuff in our driveway about 10’ apart.
He said don’t hold your breath re getting a test to see if I had the virus. At least two tests in California and more data was coming in/out, indicating that lot of us get this bug from the time I did to a few weeks after New Years.
Then, he said, “In the meantime, the stronger people in our lives, our wives/women might have had the sniffles for a day or 2, while we were feeling tired all day and had no sense of smell and minimal taste. There was no impact with the women from 19 to 80 re smell and taste.”
I told him he had described me, ,male and female family members and some friends. How did he know?
His answer, we have seen tons of patients like you the weakmen/guys since before Christmas, up and down California and the West Coast.
He said, “So no one was interested in paying for our tests to validate what they all ready knew re about us and the virus.”
I asked about the stronger people in our lives, wives, SIL’s, grand daughters, sister, cousins.
His answer, why waste money to confirm that they had a mild visit from the Coronal Virus.
He said the pattern was the same up and down the west coast with the exception of the nursing home in Washington.
