They are not saying there are no antibodies, but that the antibodies may not make you immune.

So I guess the miracle vaccine won't work either then, eh?

I don’t really expect them to find one and if they do it won’t be any better than the Flu vaccine.I wouldn’t be surprised if they came up with something that makes it mutats into something worse.

CNN trying to give WHO some credence...we’ve known that the exact effects of having the antibodies is not certain for a while now...most agree there will be some natural immunity but how strong and for how long are up in the air and likely to vary among the populations.

Does anyone here really think Terrorist Ted of the WHO would turn down antibody plasma?

Does anyone here really think Terrorist Ted of the WHO would rather have antibodies than not have them?

Who the f do they think they're kidding. This is fearporn, plain and simple.

So if 98.8% of people recover from this flu, then 99.98% of people will recover from a second encounter. You're more likely to be killed by a slip-and-fall stay-at-home freapers!

The mere idea that Terrorist Ted and Fauxi with their dystopian world views are receiving credibility on this website is the most bizarre thing I've seen here in 20 years..I know we skew over-65 here, but I don't owe you my freedom. Period.

We used to run stories mocking Dr. Doom in 2006 , you know how many posts it got? 65. More than it deserved even then.

we will only be safe when we take the Gates vaccine?

Which also won't work, but will have a side effects a million times worse than anything HCQ has. But at least you will be able to be tracked like an animal.

Well I mean even in illnesses with no vaccines, do people tend to get them over and over? Besides I guess the common cold... (which weirdly enough some colds are also caused by a “Corona” virus.)
Strep throat is a recurring illness I guess... but maybe it’s bacterial.
And funny enough didn’t that say that Covid virus also has bacterial properties? Maybe that’s why the seemingly isn’t antibodies in some people?

Has that ever happened?
A virus in a vaccine mutates into something else?

It’s 100% a reasonable question.

I’ll never understand people who shame others for asking questions trying to gain a better understanding a subject.

I was just thinking the same thing.

If that’s the case then we need to get on with living and stop this nonsense of hiding in our homes.

Realize some people are going to die from this and that can’t be helped. Sad...yes...grief...yes...but the world must go on.

And the WHO is always “right” correct? No, not by a long shot.

“WHO Deletes Misleading Tweet That Spread Paranoia About COVID-19 Reinfection”

- see https://reason.com/2020/04/26/world-health-organization-tweet-coronavirus-covid-19-antibodies/

From the article, WHO tweeted the following:

“Earlier today we tweeted about a new WHO scientific brief on “immunity passports”. The thread caused some concern & we would like to clarify:”

“We expect that most people who are infected with #COVID19 will develop an antibody response that will provide some level of protection.”
