When I was training as a doctor, you’d change clothes at the hospital to avoid spreading infection.

Because they’re just pretending to be medical personnel.

I wear scrubs at home all the time. A lot of people who have used them in their work do. They’re comfortable, and have nice pockets in front for my MP3 player or phone.

These people may be advertising the fact that they ARE healthcare workers. That doesn’t necessarily mean that the scrubs were worn at work and are dirty.

They should be in orange scrubs and wearing those hideous 5 dollar slip on tennis shoes.

I see people in scrubs all over the place.

Their work Ids have them working at the hospital. But just about anyone at the hospital can wear scrubs.

They’re wearing medical masks too. Aren’t those supposed to be in short supply?

And if they’ve been worn in the hospital, could they be COVID-infected?

What about the masks? Isn’t there a shortage?

Scrubs are comfy, I always had trouble finding my large size though...too many fatties at the hosp.

I found a great ebayer that sells XS-\3X for 20$ a set and free shipping.

Because people like to wear scrubs. They are comfortable. Sold on Amazon & lots of other places. Wearing scrubs outside the hospital is unrelated to being in the medical profession. Doctors/Nurses who wear scrubs outside of work hours have changed into clean scrubs.

So these people show up at demonstrations, in scrubs, because those scrubs are comfortable and it’s all “unrelated to the medical profession”?

Or are they wearing them as a counter-protester costume?

I don’t wear them in my particular position, but a lot of the people I work with do. At Christmas, we give each other funny or clever scrubs; so I have quite a supply.

Maybe it helps them hide the bike lock more easily while they’re looking for an old lady to beat up.

The scrubs incident was looked into more closely by a small Denver radio station. Unlike the totally corrupt and inept media, they quickly identified the perp (who has a long history as a progressive protestor and has a job in a local strip joint (no kidding) as a sound man, I believe. The photog and her hubby are connected also - what a coincidence. The station is KNUS, and naturally the media is not covering the very good research effort.

And, of course the named perp will not sue because that would further expose the sham.

Everyone in my neighborhood has a mask of some kind. Many of them work in healthcare or housekeeping and always have a supply. Others are in construction, and have N95s. A lot of regular people have masks in their homes because of allergies. I see a lot of bandannas, too.

Many of us who work in fields that use masks saw this coming, and stocked-up before they were gone. I think I bought the last box in my Walgreens months ago.

I can only hope that I get recruited to join a counter-protest rally. They would be in for a big surprise.

You’d have to ask them.
Around here it’s just a variant of comfy clothes.
People wear scrubs in many other lines of work too: vet/vet tech, janitors, dental/dental techs, message and physical therapists, pharmacy technicians, holistic health practitioners, assisted living practitioners and nutritionists, Pharmacy technicians, dermatologists and speech-language pathologists, Imaging technologists.

I would never assume some one wearing scrubs was in the medical field. You maybe right that there is some kind of symbolism in present circumstances or a move to solidarity. Interesting thought.

Maybe it is like one of Obama’s speeches when he had the audience put on white Doctor’s coats to look more professional for the cameras.

Because today’s DNCMedia narrative is all stay-at-home protesters are mean-spirited selfish Trump Supporters (deplorables, tea baggers bitter clingers) who want to get valiant doctors and nurses unselfishly fighting this deadly, horrific disease—not from China—killed.

The RIGHT thing to do, of course, is stay home and collect money from Piglosi, vote democrat by mail, and in about two years when someone has a vaccine, we might, just MIGHT be allowed to vote for a Republican again. Or not.

So they go out and protest against the “open now” protesters with while wearing the “Scrubs of Social Responsibility” that the DNCMedia is foisting on us.

Oh, and Trump said to inject Clorox!
