So he is basically doing exactly what Kemp did by blowing off Fauci’s 14 day guideline.

Since he’s a Democrat how will the press react if Trump slams him?

IMHO, this is caused by pressure from public employee unions, whose members are about to lose jobs. The states HAVE TO HAVE THE TAX REVENUE!

Good luck on getting those on enhanced unemployment back to work.

They ain’t coming back until the unemployment runs out.

Why work when you get “paid” more to stay home.

Someh, I think law firms are rubbing their hands with glee. “He didn’t wear a mask, and gave it to my client!”

MN has 3,185 confirmed cases and 221 deaths. It equates to 40 deaths per million of population. Germany is opening up with 67 deaths per million. Sweden never shut down and it has 213 deaths per million.

Hospitalized as of today: 278; Hospitalized in ICU as of today: 111. 138 of the 221 deaths occurred in one county--Hennepin, the most populous county in Minnesota and the 32nd-most populous county in the United States; more than one in five Minnesotans live in Hennepin County.

"Restrictions could be lifted on up to 100,000 Minnesota workers by Monday"

Interesting (to me, at least) that the title makes no specific mention of American citizens who live in MN returning to work... Just "workers"...

Somalians ecstatic...

A good step, but not much help to small businesses. In two weeks the walleye season opens in Minnesota... this is a huge thing in Minnesota. Resorts, local restaurants, marinas and bait shops are still closed. Many of the lake resort cabins are family run small businesses that are booked for opening weekend sometimes years in advance. They are not year round resorts and the May-October bookings are their only income. While public boat ramps and state park campgrounds are open, these resorts are where many stay for opening weekend. Small town restaurants and bars in these lake areas are also closed by Governor’s order. The continued shutdown will be the end of these small businesses and northern Minnesota will be devastated by Gov. Walz’s poor judgement. There has been no spike in new Corona virus cases, hospitals have not been overrun and healthcare personnel are being furloughed due to the lack of patients
