It sounds interesting.

THE PRESIDENT: Right. And then I see the disinfectant, where it knocks it out in a minute. One minute. And is there a way we can do something like that, by injection inside or almost a cleaning. Because you see it gets in the lungs and it does a tremendous number on the lungs. So it would be interesting to check that. So, that, you’re going to have to use medical doctors with. But it sounds — it sounds interesting to me.
Where is lysol mentioned?
Yes, but note the usage of the word “inject” by the scientist who was discussing heat and light and humidity. I think the word “inject” stayed in Trump’s mind. “Inject” doesn’t have to mean “injection by a needle.”
Well, other than:
1 - he didn’t say lysol
2 - he didn’t say you should do it
3 - he didn’t say it would work.
Other than that, sure, they are not twisting his words.
He had a stupid idea, and said the doctors should look into it. And I imagine the doctors spent the 3 seconds it needed, and dismissed it, and you won’t hear it again.
I often wondered what the first meeting was like when somebody walked into the room and said “You know, I bet we could fix cancer if we just injected you with poison”.
This is the 4th or 5th time you've used this quote and any one can see that President Trump is referring to the virus when he says "it gets in the lungs and does a tremendous number on the lungs"
Trump does stream of consciousness all the time, and it confuses some people.
No one with half a brain, would connect injecting lysol into the lungs with anything that Trump said.
