When you look at Bella Abzug and Betty Friedan, as well as most militant feminazis today, they look like caricatures of people, not real human beings. If you page through an illustrated edition of Hans Christian Anderson, you'll see creatures that look like that labeled as "trolls" or crones.
Seriously. Going through life that ugly is bound to warp your perception of humanity.
At least Quasimodo was ugly only on the outside.
