Health officials said Tuesday that new autopsy results show a patient in Santa Clara, Calif., died of COVID-19 on Feb. 6, several weeks before the United States declared its first novel coronavirus death.
The finding suggests that the virus was circulating in the San Francisco Bay Area earlier than previously thought.
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported the first fatality due to coronavirus complications in the United States on Feb. 28. The patient was a resident of Kirkland, Wash.
Now, the Santa Clara County Public Health Department has identified two individuals who died of COVID-19 at home on Feb. 6 and Feb. 17. The health department said samples were sent to the CDC and the results were shared Tuesday.

SO have they had this body hanging around all this time???
Ping
Theres a county coroner in Alabama who believes it hit in her county in February. She said there was a huge spike in deaths.
“The patient was a resident of Kirkland, Wash.”
OK. That makes sense.
No one knew what the symptoms were at that time, nor how dangerous. The apartments/homes must still reek. MEs passed out?
SO have they had this body hanging around all this time???
Pervy leftist necrophiliacs need love too.
Bodies
No, just the headlines to denounce Trump for "not acting sooner"...presstitutes have no shame.
Dr. Anthony Fauci (Jan-26-2020):

That was a death which occurred, and was reported as due to covid19, later.
That was the Feb. 28 patient, not the one in SCC, who died Feb. 6.
How old? Co morbidities? I didn’t see ANYTHING about the person.
I thought it said Santa Claus.
Need glasses.
Was afraid he infected the elves and deer for a second
Was the victim Chinese?
Exactly my thought, as well.
It didn’t say. From a different article at Sfgate:
“During a Wednesday press conference, Cody said the Feb. 6 death was a 57-year-old woman, the Feb. 17 death was a 69-year-old man and the March 6 death was a 70-year-old man.”
Get back to me when they admit the virus hit US soil in 2019. At that point, they will be getting closer to the truth.
The CDC is talking about the person that died in Kirkland in late February.
I hope the press isn’t insinuating that someone should have known about this even though it took nearly two months to diagnose the case.
