The Trump administration launched an interactive webpage Wednesday streaming footage of the wall being constructed on the southern border between the U.S. and Mexico.
The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) webpage streams video and drone footage of the construction of the border wall, which was a key proposal of President Trumps agenda during the 2016 campaign.
The CBP page also includes an interactive map that allows users to zoom in on new construction projects along the border wall, as well as an infographic of the border wall construction.
President Trump is delivering on his promise to build a border wall system to secure the border, acting CBP Commissioner Mark Morgan said in a statement. Border security is national security and a strong border wall system is critical to keeping our nation safe."

“How far up a mountain side do they build? According to the map, there wont be any wall in mountainous areas. Doesnt this create potential gaps and weaknesses?”
No doubt it will create gaps. I’m all for releasing Mountain Lions with fricking laser beams attached to their head to take care of the Climbers.
There already is a new Wall up Mount Christo Rey near El Paso. Built by We Build the Wall. Takes longer to build. And more $$. But it can and will be built.
Border wall Video
It certainly not live that video is speeded up at least 2 or 3 time actual speed.
“How far up a mountain side do they build?”
It varies from place to place, but steep mountain terrain is just a tough problem to build. It makes it tough to get patrol/response road through there as well.
It is tough on the bad guys too, and more people and technology can be focused on the mountains, when the flats are walled off.
The Army’s 10th Mountain Division as kept a hand in the rotations in support of the Border Patrol, testing technology, and exercising their TTP (Tactics, Techniques and Procedures) in mountainous terrain.
Texas is one of the few places where wind generators can make a little bit of financial sense.
With the amount of wind, and fairly level conditions, Texas wind generators can come close to begin to break even {but all of these monsters still look to uncle sugar for a profit}.
They would do well to publish numbers of people crossing the border in those sectors, before the barrier and then after the barrier.
Those 30’ sections look like they might be a challenge to climb.

“They would do well to publish numbers of people crossing the border in those sectors, before the barrier and then after the barrier.”
I am hoping that they roll out more stuff like that over time too.
“Those 30 sections look like they might be a challenge to climb.”
More than half of people who fall from that height, will die from the fall. It evokes a serious fear of heights response from people - it is like a fourth floor windowsill height. With a few rolls of concertina tangled up on top, few people will try to climb it - it effectively deters the great majority.
The eighteen foot bollards (with anti-climb plate) have been in use near Nogales for about 20 years - and they deter or defeat virtually all free climbers. If they bring a ladder, they can be seen coming with it, and it requires a team. Concertina really complicates ladder/rope attacks.
The Military has been running along behind the contractors, emplacing concertina on new segments of bollards, but the Contractors are getting way out in front of the Military detachment now, with their increasing pace of construction. Eventually, the concertina will catch up, and it will be a truly intimidating physical obstacle.
The detection technology that goes in with this new Border Wall System is a game changer, just by itself.
The video that they will show, will all be pre-recorded clips - no live broadcasts. But it will be reasonably current, and have official (verified) information.
They have security concerns that they must be careful about. They don't want the bad guys to use a live broadcast to watch for when the coast is clear, or time when Border patrol come and go.
There are also some secret technological capabilities being installed, that they want to save as a surprise.

thanks for this site. It provides exactly what I wanted to know
