Self-explanatory. Positive and upbeat. Five years before Reagan won the WH. Back when there were reasonable interviewers such as Johnny Carson in contrast to today's crop.
No transcript. Watch if you have not seen it or haven't seen it in a long long time. Always a pleasure IMO.

Thank you for posting this. I consider myself to be fortunate to have been able to vote for Ronald Reagan and be alive during his Presidencies.
45 years ago and the CIA was doing things it shouldn’t be doing; taxes had grown too high; too many people on welfare; the size and scope of government had grown way beyond what it was created to do.
In other words, nothing has changed.
President Reagan was so charming, so smooth, so well spoken, so polished, such a great leader. He was so amazing. I (like everybody here) miss him dearly. When he was POTUS, it felt like those days would never end.
Thanks for posting!
Thanks for posting.
Jimmy Carter was president when I first registered to vote. Ronald Reagan was my first vote for president.
So true. I remember driving home from work one day in 1986 and despondently thinking, “President Reagan only has two years left.”
I was in the armed forces, and had been for eight years, when Ronald Reagan first was elected president. A fresh breeze moved through the military, much needed after four years of the incompetent goofball who was his predecessor (every dictator’s favorite toilet brush, Jimmy Carter).
Civility! What a concept!
refreshing
Gonna search up a couple other YouTubes of his speeches and remarks.
That was good. Thanks for posting. It’s easy to forget how much I liked Reagan back in the day.
