Trump to Announce Big Deregulation Moves to Speed Economic Recovery
PJ Media ^ | 21 April 20 | Stephen Green

President Donald Trump will "slash" regulations in a bid to jumpstart the economy as COVID-19 restrictions begin to loosen around the country. The Washington Post's Jeff Stein and Robert Costa reported earlier today that "senior administration officials are planning effort to relax rules" perhaps as soon as late April, which is just days away. The reporters spoke to two people "familiar with the internal planning" who told them that the "initiative is expected to center on suspending federal regulations for small businesses," as well as "expanding an existing administration program that requires agencies to revoke two regulations for every new one they issue." The changes could affect "environmental policy, labor policy, workplace safety and health care," among others.

I say, "Bring it on."

And relocate all EPA and other career bureaucrats to Nome, Alaska from Arlington and Alexandria - unless of course they prefer to retire. ;)

“expanding an existing administration program that requires agencies to revoke two regulations for every new one they issue.”

That was done about two years ago.

I like it......the vision of EPA’ers slogging in the snow-filled Alaskan wilderness is a good one.

Hell, he was up against Pelosi,Schumer, FBI and NSA and MSM who all wanted him ousted. (I admire this man for having survived the onslaught.) Pray that God may protect him again.

He’d have been attacked mercilessly. Right now he’s able to actually do the right thing. It would have been perfect if he’d done this three years ago. It’s very good that he’s doing it now. At least it’s happening. Until some judge shuts it down, of course.

“why didn’t he do this 2+ years ago?”

The president always has to count on the blowback. How would the press spin this if he had done it without a crisis for cover? He would be accused of destroying the world! We’re all gonna die!

But given this crisis he believes he can get away with stronger measures. (Remember Rahm Emanuel’s “never let a crisis go to waste.)

Trump has an exquisite sense of timing. The difference is the political cost before the Wuflu would have been excessive. Now the same move will be lauded by the general public as brilliant leadership. (Winning! Trust the Trump!)

Mr Trump, Great news! Please please roll back automobile manufacturing regulations, including fleet fuel mileage, crash performance, paint VOC’s and emissions. You don’t need to eliminate them. Just allow auto makers to produce pretty cars which we can see out of and afford ....all currently outlawed.

Good point. Im impressed that my current cast weighs less than 3000 pounds. And go figure.. it gets 37/40 mpg.

These new cars have 500 hp because they need it.
