I could be wrong, but I don’t think Trump cares one bit about political manuevering to put Democrats on the spot. I believe he is simply leading, listening to his advisors and trying to decide on the best path forward.

Trump is a pretty unique individual in my book. He doesn’t really act like a politician in my book. He has to know, for example, that his Tweets often generate a lot of controversy and may even cost him moderate votes, but he carries on regardless.

I think the democrat strategy is obvious... Blame republicans for every death in their state after lifting of lockdowns, as if Corona virus deaths are more important than other causes of death. The only counter to this will take time, as red state economies get back on track while people flee blue states.

I'd have made it "vengeance-seeking victim" but that's a pretty good summation as it is. If you can categorize conservatives as having an insatiable lust for money, you have to admit that everybody ends up getting some. With a Democrat insatiable lust for power, sharing it has no role.
