Georgia has had 733 coronavirus deaths since the beginning of the year.
Kemp says gyms, salons, bowling allies will reopen by the end of the week and restaurants will be allowed to reopen next week.
Tennessee has had 152 coronavirus deaths this year.
The AJC reported:
Gov. Brian Kemp outlined plans Monday to allow some businesses shuttered amid the coronavirus pandemic to reopen by the end of the week, as he starts to ease restrictions that have ravaged the states economy to stem the spread of the disease.
The governors order will allow gyms, bowling alleys, salons and some other indoor facilities closed under his shelter in place order to resume operations by Friday if they comply with social distancing requirements and meet other safety standards. And restaurants, which were banned from in-person dining, will be allowed to reopen on April 27 if they meet guidelines his office will release later this week. Theaters will also be covered by those new standards. Bars and nightclubs will stay shuttered.
I dont give a damn about politics now, said Kemp, who said hes more concerned about Georgians going broke worried about whether they can feed their children and make the mortgage payment.

Will the Bowling Alley’s remain Allies?
Then don’t go.
When the anti American States see the pro American States prospering, their citizens will revolt.
SEC! SEC! SEC! SEC! SEC!
He's not a rational thinker and our state health person needs to be run out of town. It's inexcusable that they suddenly realized the virus had asymptomatic transmission. It's as if they never watched the briefings let alone paid attention on his conference calls or talked to CDC based in Atlanta.
Looking at the new cases posted by Johns Hopkins, there's no way Georgia is ready for this from a health perspective. We keep seeing large spikes.
I like this guy.
I hope he runs for President in 2024.
“I don’t understand the rush to open gyms. Those places are Petri dishes in the best of times.”
We’re pretty sure DH had the WuFlu on our Feb. 1-8 cruise. He thinks he picked it up in the ship’s gym. As for me, I avoid those places. “1 Timothy 4:8a - For bodily exercise profiteth little”
Were opening the beaches here in NE Fla. Limiting times and activities. So far so good. Also moving towards opening stores, restaurants etc......Apparently people arent as stooopid as some lib politicians think.
Yea! Looks like we’ll be free here in TN soon!
The Democratic governor of Pennsylvania doesn’t want me to have a haircut.
Wish we had someone like Kemp running things in California but unfortunately state is too far gone, I think we are gonna stay locked in forever
Bowling allies! I could have used a few of those!
Illiterates!
salons..sigh... I remember when I had two separate eyebrows and nails that didn’t show up minutes before I arrived.
I dont get why my decision to take risks should be dictated by the Governor, CDC, or some busy body. If you want to stay home, then do it but dont tell me how to live my life. I am an individual who wishes to pursue liberty and happiness. But, by all means, if you want to pursue something else, then have at it. I am not part of some commune that gets to dictate my behavior based upon what is best for the commune.
