162 miles completed, 188 miles under construction, 381 miles in pre-construction.

Perhaps there was some holiday or weather fluctuation - but four more miles secured, nonetheless. More than a half a billion more dollars ($569M) was placed on contract to build more border wall last week, so there is that as well.
Your updates on the wall are appreciated.
What coronavirus? The wall construction continues..
+1
Thank you for the update.
Just think how far ahead wed be if Ryan didnt stop him at every move the first two years in office.
Thanks Beau
Can you direct us to a web site with a map indicating where those miles are?

Paul Ryan is the perfect example of everything thats wrong with the GOP. He was and is totally bought and owned by the globalist and traitorous Chamber of Commerce and history will not be kind to him. He deserves to sit on a throne of shame next to fat Ted Kennedy, Clinton, Bushes I and II, Obama, and Jefferson Davis.
The wall is moving right along.
Thanks for the good news!!!

They (Border Patrol) add up all the projects that are currently underway, and just report the totals. It is the only authoritative source I know of, for regular (weekly) progress reports. I have not found an authoritative website for detailed and current information (the opposition would just use it to guide their obstructive attacks).
There was discussion a few months ago, that a website might be established (by the Government or Trump Campaign), and possibly webcams activated, to allow the public to track construction of the wall. So far, I have not heard of any actually being developed - maybe before the election.
There was the unofficial
https://www.trumpwall.construction/
that attempted to track the individual projects, but not being an official source, they had to make some assumptions/estimates - which never seemed to match up to the officially reported mileage complete numbers (percentage of project complete does not equal percentage of miles complete, because non-construction work like design is part of the total project work). It was good for maintaining detailed listings of the individual projects, but it seems that it is no longer maintained. Maybe he will catch back up after the coronavirus fever breaks.

I wonder if he was ‘convinced’ not to run for reelection - possibly by letting him know that if he did there would be information released.
Well, I gave up trying to keep the sites up to date.
Back in the day, my wife and I traversed the border of Texas and most of Arizona to see what it looked like. I am interested in seeing the map of the wall construction in places we visited.

So far, less than a dozen miles are completed in Texas (not counting the privately funded Wall in Donna, Texas). Four of those miles were in Downtown El Paso, about three near Fronton (just South of Falcon Lake), and there are a smattering of projects in the Rio Grande Valley that have started low rate construction, while land acquisition continues to be a hold up.
Over a hundred miles are funded and contracted in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas, and last week, additional waivers were issued for another 15 of those miles to proceed. The Government seems to be accelerating their legal efforts to acquire the right of way in the Rio Grande Valley, so I expect that this Summer we will see more active construction down there. Laredo, on the North Side of Falcon Lake, is now funded, and contract awards are expected in May. Construction up there (over 120 more miles) will likely mostly be in 2021.
Arizona however, is building like gangbusters. So is New Mexico, and California. Next year, more than half of each of those States will be solidly walled off from Mexico, for the first time ever. Because the location of the wall has been carefully prioritized, much more than half of the operational impact will be achieved - the great majority.
Yuma Arizona has long been the third heaviest traveled corridor for illegal traffic, after San Diego and the Rio Grande Valley. That whole sector of the border (except for a couple of miles on a small Indian Reservation South of Yuma City) is getting the new Trump-style Super Wall System - almost all 30 footers, and much of it double barrier. From the California Border to the Western edge of the Tohono O’Odham Nation (including all of the Goldwater Test Range, Cabeza Prieta and Organ Pipe) it is already contracted and building.
The Tohono O’Odham Nation is not getting new barrier at this time. The great bulk of their 62 mile border has vehicle barriers - Normandy-style, post rail, or short bollards (that allow pedestrian passage). They are however, newly getting complete coverage by Integrated Fixed Towers (IFT), this year. The IFT Program puts tall towers every few miles, that provide persistent surveillance with a mix of sensors for detection and tracking. Those sensor feeds are shared to command posts at different levels, and can be monitored by artificial intelligence software, to alert human operators. With this dramatic improvement in detection and tracking, likey also comes a dramatic improvement in response times, as since installations are only about four miles apart, incursions are likely within two miles of a base. Since they will have powerful zoom day/night camera coverage, officers will know exactly what they will be encountering when they respond (e.g. a pregnant woman with children, or eight fast moving men with rifles).
In fact, the entirety of the Arizona border with Mexico (barrier or not) is now on contract for IFT installation, and much is already operational.
East of the Tohono O’Odham Nation Reservation in Arizona, additional Wall System is being installed in priority areas, including the San Pedro River itself, which has long been a natural trail guiding illegals into our Country, and providing vital water and vegetation cover for concealment.
The easiest places to see the new barrier in Arizona today would be near Yuma, and the San Luis Port of Entry, where it is already about half done. Also, there is long run (over 30 miles) completed in New Mexico, West of El Paso. But there are a lot of crews out working simultaneously. Some contracts contain multiple segments which could be working concurrently by the same Contractor, and others have delivery schedules that seem to imply multiple crews - but they just don’t report those things officially to the public.
This Summer there should be a big jump in the number of crews, because of all the money that has been awarded since last November. It is a tsunami of money. It is going to be glorious.
So there is a good bit to see today, but later this year, and early next year, there is going to be a great lot.
Thank you for the update. Very interesting.
Thank you so much for that great report !!
Here is some drone video, from the San Bernardino Valley in Eastern Arizona - nearly completely walled off already:

Were you the one who put up the TrumpWall website?
Oh no.
That’s beyond my capacity
