House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said when she went out to promote San Francisco's Chinatown in late February, she did so to "end the discrimination" against Asian Americans after the outbreak of the coronavirus.
"What we were trying to do is end the discrimination, the stigma that was going out against the Asian American community," Pelosi said on Fox News Sunday.
The California Democrat claimed the city's Chinatown has been a "model for containing the virus."

Btw, there were NO "native American Indians." Those people who migrated to the Americans were ORIENTAL ASIANS.
ALL Oriental Asians have a deficiency in amino dehydrogenase, a compound that deals with alcohol. THAT deficiency showed that they were ORIENTAL ASIANS, not indigenous.
That deficiency was/is why those erstwhile "native American Indians" had such problems with "fire water." They had not the sufficient amino dehydrogenase to deal with alcohol.
They weren't even the FIRST humans in the Americas. Those were Caucasians. THEY hunted the mammoth. They would dig deep pits and drive the beasts into them.
THEN men would have to go into the pit and kill the beast. Sometimes a beast killed some of them.
The human remains found at the bottom of those pits showed that the humans had OVAL heads. ALL Oriental Asians have ROUND heads. Thus, those first humans were NOT Oriental. They were Caucasians.
The Africans have oval shaped heads too but paleontologists believe that the journey from Africa to the Americas was too far for them to travel. So, that leaves CAUCASIANS skulls, OVAL.
