Jacksonville, led by its Republican Mayor Lenny Curry, was the first to allow people back onto the beaches. On Thursday, Curry announced the city’s beaches would reopen for “essential activities” from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. each morning and from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. each evening. They remain closed during all other times.
Curry defined essential activities the same way DeSantis defined them in a previous executive order: walking, hiking, fishing, running, swimming, taking care of pets and surfing. Gatherings of 50 or more people are prohibited and people must still practice social distancing.
Other beaches across Florida, such as those in Pinellas County, remain closed.

MSM has it’s guns pointing at that beach. They cannot allow this. They will be hunting for anyone closer than 6’. It will be used to scream “see we cannot relax, people will not self distance we must keep the country closed!”. It’s BS of course the virus will not spread on a sunny beach. The officials there said we can only do this if everyone follows the rules. That is all MSM needed to hear. They figure they can nip the insurrection in the bud. Failing that paint the people on the beach to be idiots, hence the hashtag.

It’s really not the beaches or really even Florida, however it is DeSantis, the Tampa Bay time is the number on anti Trump and anti DeSantis rags in the state.
While I may quibble with certain individual actions and timing of the actions I think DeSantis has done an outstanding job.
