Not for me. I use chrome, and I spend over half the day on Free Republic,
‘shopping for trouble’.
To: Java4Jay
Remove the “s” in “https” and you’ll be fine.

Earlier tonight I was blocked by Google. A message said that Free Republics certificate had expired and could not be verified as a safe site. I was able to click through the warnings and eventually get to Free Republic.
Im not a techie but I dont think Google is intentionally blocking Free Republic.

Earlier I got a warning notice page when I refreshed the screen. Refreshed again and it came back fine. Somebody messin’ with it.

Their claim is they do not follow you, but do they report your net activity to Google?

no one knows. DDG is a Chrome extension but they are also stand alone icons like Brave. You could even add Ghostery or use VPN to add more layers. Nothing is 100%. Heck windows 10 is an anti privacy whore..
