Something went wrong during the update process and we're trying to work it out now with their tech support dept. Hopefully, this will be very soon, meanwhile we may get security warnings on our site.
Hang in there.
Firefox let me bypass it.
Okay, thank you for the heads up.
Okay here bypassing it.
Thank you! Best of luck.
I just found that.
It happens, no worries.
I just got on using Google Chrome. No problems and no warning about an unsecured site.
I finally got in but only after getting the “security problem” message 5 times.
I was about to ask, having seen a warning message. Thanks for the update!
The second time I logged on, I did see the Not secure in the upper left hand corner.
Thanks, good to know. Went directly to url and did not get the warning.
Same thing with me.
Me too on Safari.
I noticed that too! Thanks
If you use "https://" in your url to FR, you'll see the problem, but if you use "http://" you won't. I've been pulling my hair out the last half hour or so!
Warning: Potential Security Risk Ahead
Firefox detected an issue and did not continue to www.freerepublic.com. The website is either misconfigured or your computer clock is set to the wrong time.
Its likely the websites certificate is expired, which prevents Firefox from connecting securely. If you visit this site, attackers could try to steal information like your passwords, emails, or credit card details.
What can you do about it?
Your computer clock is set to 4/17/2020. Make sure your computer is set to the correct date, time, and time zone in your system settings, and then refresh www.freerepublic.com.
If your clock is already set to the right time, the website is likely misconfigured, and there is nothing you can do to resolve the issue. You can notify the websites administrator about the problem.
I got the -- 'Are you sure you want to take the risk of going to this site'
Using the Brave web browser and it let me bypass it with a couple of warnings. All’s good.
Thanks for the heads up.
