Well there’s an incredibly stupid idea. And the answer is still no. Really having the world shut down is killing China’s economy. How freaking stupid would they have to be to have actually done it on purpose? About as freaking stupid as one would have to be to nuke a city because of a cold.
That’s evil as well as pointless. The people of Beijing have not the power to reverse or oppose the CCP’s policies, and are usually the first to suffer from them.
