Was the Coronavirus Red China’s Pearl Harbor Attack?
The Stream ^ | April 17, 2020 | John Zmirak

Posted on 04/17/2020 1:59:23 PM PDT by Mrs. Don-o

My mom was not a model of ethnic sensitivity. Once she made me cringe when a bunch of visiting rural Cajuns (led by a friend of mine) took us out to New York City’s Little Italy. We couldn’t find a spot, so I suggested parking in neighboring Chinatown. Mom took a stand on principle. Absolutely not.

“Oh no,” she said, in her twangy, George-Costanza’s-mom Astoria accent. “I haven’t trusted those people since Pearl Harbor.” She’d been 14 when that happened, and her brother ended up getting wounded fighting at Normandy. Though not against … the Chinese.

I stepped in, pedantically, “But that was the Japanese! The Chinese were our allies! In fact, the oil boycott Roosevelt slapped on Japan in support of China likely provoked — ”

The rural Cajuns looked at each other. They’d expected big city New Yorkers to be a little bit … different.

“I don’t care,” Mom said, puffing a Marlboro, “they all look the same to me. Those people give me nightmares. They eat cats.”

“I … can’t argue with that,” I answered. And we didn’t park the car.

In whatever bubbling corner of Purgatory mom sweats out her sins, I know she’s cackling now. I can see her raising her eyebrows and saying, “They eat bats, too.” From a Research Lab, Not a Wet Market

But of course, she’d be wrong. (Again, Mom! Again.) The habit of eating virus-laced bats, or even endangered pangolins, apparently wasn’t the cause of the Wuhan flu’s transmission. The Coronavirus’ origins appear not to be nearly so innocent or quaint.

Fox News reports:

There is increasing confidence that the COVID-19 outbreak likely originated in a Wuhan laboratory, though not as a bioweapon but as part of China’s attempt to demonstrate that its efforts to identify and combat viruses are equal to or greater than the capabilities of the United States, multiple sources who have been briefed on the details of early actions by China’s government and seen relevant materials tell Fox News.

This may be the “costliest government cover-up of all time,” one of the sources said.

The sources believe the initial transmission of the virus – a naturally occurring strain that was being studied there – was bat-to-human and that “patient zero” worked at the laboratory, then went into the population in Wuhan.

The subsequent weeks were a black comedy of errors, as Communist bureaucrats covered their butts, silenced whistleblowers, jailed scientists, and lied to the world. In all of that, they had the help of the compliant World Health Organization. (No wonder President Trump has suspended funding to that organization.) And a timid, sold-out, or frankly pro-China Mainstream Media.

The Chinese response recalled the Soviet handling of Chernobyl, except a whole lot worse, since the stakes were higher. The radiation from that plant wasn’t going to spread from Ukraine to New York, London, and Rome. A Long Record of Lies

The Victims of Communism Foundation has produced a detailed timeline of the People’s Republic of China’s (PRC’s) actions surrounding the outbreak. The Foundation notes:

[T]he first case was recorded in Wuhan, China, on November 17, 2019 — a fact still not acknowledged by the PRC. Despite readily available information and a rapidly spreading outbreak, it took more than two months for the PRC to inform the world that the coronavirus was being transmitted among humans, which the regime finally admitted on January 20. The PRC knew about human-to-human transmission by late December, yet ordered the evidence destroyed. Such information was vital to preventing the global pandemic.

For a video account of how China mishandled the virus outbreak in order to cover up its true origins, watch this stunning, one-hour documentary from The Epoch Times. That paper is one of the few media outlets willing to subject the Communist regime to honest scrutiny.

Biological Warfare Against the World

But we haven’t even gotten to the really bad part of China’s behavior, the part that seems like a piece of biological warfare aimed at the rest of the world. Buried in Fox’s report we find the following shocking paragraph:

There were doctors and journalists who were “disappeared” warning of the spread of the virus and its contagious nature and human to human transmission. China moved quickly to shut down travel domestically from Wuhan to the rest of China, but did not stop international flights from Wuhan.

Did you get that? Not only did the Chinese Communist regime know that the virus spread by contact, and lie about it. It shut down the infected province to travel inside China, but continued to send people from there all around the world.

The Communists shut down the infected province to travel inside China, but continued to send people from it all around the world.

Does that remind you of anything? Maybe old stories of U.S. soldiers giving smallpox-infected blankets to Indian tribes they hoped to wipe out? Or the German general staff shipping Lenin to Russia, to bring down its tottering regime in 1917, and knock it out of the war? China a Global Pariah State?

Elizabeth Vaughn at Redstate also noticed this incendiary assertion. She quotes the conversation between reporter Bret Baier and host Sean Hannity on Fox News, during prime time:

Hannity notes, “It certainly would speak volumes if they are not allowing people from Wuhan to travel to China or to any other areas of China, but they’re letting them travel internationally. That would mean they knew the risk was real. They protected their own country, but nobody else and we already know that they were not forthcoming.”

Baier said, “My sources…they’ve been briefed on this and they seem pretty confident. The fact that they’re saying it like this is news in and of itself…We really want to see the evidence, the hard, direct evidence and we’ll see if we can get that.”

Vaughn concludes: “If it is proven that the CCP stopped air traffic to and from Wuhan to contain the spread of the virus, but continued to allow travel from Wuhan to foreign countries, it would be a game-changer. China will truly become a pariah on the global stage. I can’t imagine anything President Xi could say or do to redeem himself.”

Support The Stream: Serving the Body During This Crisis With Facts. Faith. And No Fear.

I’ll go further. If we can verify that China protected its own citizens from this virus, while sending those likely infected all around the world like human bioweapons … that’s an act of war.

And a much more infamous one than Pearl Harbor, in fact. At least that sneak attack targeted soldiers, not old people in nursing homes.

At this point, off in eternity, my mother lights a Marlboro from the purgatorial flames and blows a smoke ring. “I told you so.”

My hope is that China was merely neglectful and the release of the disease - a stupid mistake. If purposeful (big if): This is something more than it seems, 隱藏在眾目睽睽, and the endgame has yet to be revealed. The virus is a sleeper, or opening salvo, for something much more insidious. China and those in league with it, [fill in the blank], don't play checkers on the world stage. Think Go. They don't make this high risk gambit with a mere temporary paralysis of western economies and negligible deaths as the payoff. “Coming events cast their shadows before them.” – Chinese Proverb Anyway, my guess, my hope, is that they were just stupid and negligently released the virus.

From an earlier post (2-weeks ago):
"What have we learned from coronavirus?"

That the chicoms learned a key strategic lesson from the jap attack on Pearl Harbor...

What the city of Troy learned about wooden horses...

For a successful attack against a superior force, the sneakiness has to be maximized... The chicom virus attack seems to meet that requirement...

"Korean War 1950–1953 33,686

Don’t know how of our troops were killed by ChiComs."

Before the chicoms crossed the Yalu, about 8600 Americans had lost their lives... The peninsula was just about secured...

After a million of the slant eyed maniacs crossed the Yalu, 25,000 more Americans were killed... Do I get easily pissed off at chicom defenders? Being in the Corps from 51-to-57 assures that...

“Now if someone suggested this flu is some Deep State conspiracy, I might
buy into it. “

You might want to consider that Dr. Fauci is involved with Bill Gates and that Dr. Fauci is also involved with the NIH Grant that was helping fund the virus research in the Wuhan Lab. You also may want to consider that Gain of Function was approved in the work with this virus.

Gain of Function = Ability to Weaponization of the virus.

Buyin in now?

But the numbers of cases were infinitesimal to Wuhan.

````
So all those other huge cities that were quarantined (something like 800,000,000 people at one point) had infinitesimal cases and deaths? Sounds like good CCP reporting. Xi proud!
My own hypothesis (nice word for guess) is that it was initially a dangerous leak, an inadvertent breach of containment. But after it was a fait accompli, the CCP saw certain advantages which could be wrung from a wretched situation, with an eye to the global balance(s) of power.
Similarly I would say the leadership of the DNC and their globalist media allies, neither planned, manufactured, or spread this viral plague; but once it happened --- once they actually grasped the dimensions of the thing, and it took them awhile --- they reverted to their customary modus operandi: (1) We don't solve problems, we escalate them (if we can damage our opponents by doing so), and (2) Never let a crisis go to waste. Especially with an eye to the next election.
I would say the CCP and the DNC were not evil geniuses plotting our demise; but they were (and are) opportunistically exploiting this accident as something they hope can be turned to their advantage.
At today’s WH presser the President repeatedly stated he was not happy with how the CCP initially dealt with the virus and how they have behaved since. He stated his disgust several times, which told me things are not good right now between the U.S and China.
Thanks for putting our nickle on the table.
Agreed, the likeliest of scenarios, is negligence.
Then various parties capitalized on same.
However there are different levels of negligence. For instance gross negligence, (e.g. they didn't really care if this escaped because, hey, western institutions would suffer the most because of any number of reasons which I generally refer to as an institutional, cultural, and political genome uniquely susceptible to a virus of this type). I need an acronym for this :). The western world's immune system is primed to over respond and hurt itself when faced with an unknown threat of this type. The overlap with the virus's impact on the human body is ironic. The idea that China never gamed through the consequences of a release of this sort, is impossible. To that extent, China's negligence is properly characterized as purposeful.
There is a way to turn the tables here. A pretext to the social, international, economic and cultural isolation of China. Let's call it a uniquely serendipitous opportunity of the type you alluded to, but, with tables turned.
This is more than one way that this is intentional.
First, it could be a bio-engineered weapon. We (the American public) might not ever know for sure.
Second, it could have been released and intentionally spread.
Third, they could have intentionally withheld critical information. Even the leftists have a hard time arguing that point.
I’ve said elsewhere on FR that just as the oil embargo led Japan to attack us at Pearl Harbor, which was a desperate move on their part, the tariffs and not being able to get rid of them and Trump’s enforcement policies might have lead to this, another desperate move.
Things are not going the CCP’s way when MACRON! is saying that G7 should invoke economic sanctions against the CCP.
China is @#$& ed.
From the article you posted; ( ) are my comments:
“...
...
(Hannity show interview with Bret Baier brought up the point about CCP stopped travel within China but did not stop it internationally.
Elizabeth Vaughn (Redstate) comment on it):
“If it is proven that the CCP stopped air traffic to and from Wuhan to contain the spread of the virus, but continued to allow travel from Wuhan to foreign countries, it would be a game-changer.
China will truly become a pariah on the global stage.
AND compare “Nov 17” from first article to info here:
https://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3836182/posts?page=1#1
https://www.timesofisrael.com/us-alerted-israel-nato-to-disease-outbreak-in-china-in-november-report/
“US intelligence agencies alerted Israel to the coronavirus outbreak in China already in November, Israeli television reported Thursday.
According to Channel 12 news, the US intelligence community became aware of the emerging disease in Wuhan in the second week of that month and drew up a classified document.
Information on the disease outbreak was not in the public domain at that stage — and was known only apparently to the Chinese government.
US intelligence informed the Trump administration, “which did not deem it of interest,” but the report said the Americans also decided to update two allies with the classified document: NATO and Israel, specifically the IDF.
The network said Israeli military officials later in November discussed the possibility of the spread of the virus to the region and how it would affect Israel and neighboring countries.
The intelligence also reached Israel’s decision makers and the Health Ministry, where “nothing was done,” according to the report.”
The ICs of the US, UK, Japan would never have missed such catastrophic totals in Beijing and Shanghai. Those who died were collateral damage. Once the devil was loose Xi and the CCP decided to ride with the Devil. And they have.
He lays out the case. It looks damning.
China attacks America with a virus that mostly kills elderly pensioners collecting social security? "Hey! Let's get all the old people out of the way! That'll bring America to her knees!"
That we completely annihalated our economy over it was our stupidity, not their strategic genius.
“Buyin in now?”
It makes a lot more sense than a Pearl Harbor comparison.
If this was a bio attack, it was most likely by accident as it affected the whole world, including China. Unless of course it’s purpose was to decimate the entire world’s population, which if my memory is correct, Gate’s is a proponent of.
Ever since Windows 10 came out as an obvious Trojan Horse in the surveillance department, I’ve had no use for Bill Gates, as this made him a very important player in the DC Swamp.
I infer from the evidence that the virus spill from the Wuhan Virology Lab was an accident, not strategic biowarfare genius. But once it happened, once it was a reality on the ground, the Chinese Communist Party had considerable control over the "export."
Did they (per absurdam) take steps to export it to the rest of China? By no means. They stopped flights from Wuhan to the rest of China, and took many other containment measures.
Did they stake steps to export it to the res of the world? Yes. They continued flights direct from Wuhan on all points of the compass, to the world at large.
Did they intend it to wipe out specifically our surplus seniors? Especially the super-old, the sick, the "useless eaters"? No. But when you're exporting chaos, you go with what you got.
