Seems like it would make sense to opensource the research.
“FBI Says......”
I stopped right there.
I was just going to type that!
I might be, but if Israel was hacking the CDC I’d give them a pass in a way that I wouldn’t give it to them if they were hacking the DOD.
If China is able to get through in either place, it is the fault of the people on our end, l not the Chinese. Complaining about the Chinese hacking is like complaining about a leak in your roof that you notice whenever it rains.
If it Is government funded, yes. Private sector research and what constitutes justice with regards to intellectual goods is, to say the least, messy.
OK FBI.
Luc Montagnier, who won the NOBEL PRIZE in medicine for co-discovering the AIDS virus, says that the Wuhan Flu was manmade.
Los Alamos study released ten days ago suggests Ro is 5.7 rather than under 2.5 per prior medical reporting. Reflects a much lower effectiveness of measures to contain viral spread. Must have about 82% recovered from infection before herd immunity comes into play. Implies widespread infection with little to no symptomsthus a lower incidence of death.
Which brings back the “lower the curve” with respect to severe symptoms.
Rather than wait for enough tests to do general population surveys repeatedly, or (for what might be a variety of reasons) not testing the dead, and inferring/guessing their disease status,
why not test all those presumed infected in the ICU or on ventilators?
Then, look for common demographic/and or risk factors among THAT population.
Maybe, if there is some behaviour / disease state / underlying condition shown to have R**2 of 0.7 or better (say), try to isolate THOSE people and let everyone else out...?
Yeah let's let our corporations spend millions of dollars in research and then let it be open to the world for free......why the hell not?
It shouldn't be any surprise when they can't recoup their losses and go out of business. Then we won't have to worry about anyone stealing intellectual property from our companies.......yaaaay - global utopia for all.
