Eric Holder, who served as former President Barack Obama’s attorney general, said the quiet part out loud this week and admitted he saw coronavirus as “an opportunity” to permanently change the way Americans voted.
“Coronavirus gives us an opportunity to revamp our electoral system so that it permanently becomes more inclusive and becomes easier for the American people to access,” Holder said in an interview with TIME magazine.
He called for a “sea change” in voting systems, allowing Americans to vote from home, using prepaid mail-in ballots and unlimited absentee voting. Holder did not discuss concerns about voter fraud in his interview but posited that any special exceptions made to the voting process during the coronavirus should remain permanent.
“It would be foolhardy to take these pro-democracy measures off the table after we get on the other side of the virus,” he said. “These are changes that we should make permanent because it will enhance our democracy.”
Team Obama has been out in full force against Trump lately.
Former National Security Adviser Susan Rice -- who infamously lied when she claimed the Benghazi terrorists attacks happened because of a "video" -- blamed Trump for tens of thousands of deaths that will happen because of the coronavirus.
“This administration was not interested in pandemics. It was not prepared for pandemics. We now know that even during the Trump administration there were lots of reports, lots of warnings,” Rice told the Washington Post before outlining what she would have done and then blamed Trump for tens of thousands of deaths.
“He has demonstrated utter lack of leadership, utter incompetence,” she continued. “And he’s been profoundly dishonest about the nature of the threat to the American people by downplaying it, by dismissing it, by comparing it to the flu.”
“He has misled the American people to such an extent that lives have been lost in the process,” added Rice.

Suspend the election until a full and complete campaign can be conducted and a normal election can be held.

As a long-service Presiding Election Judge in Bexar County, TX, may I suggest that addresses with 5 or more persons, who request “voting absentee” (for example: NURSING HOMES), be VISITED during Early Voting & “the team” vote those persons on one of our portable machines?
Fwiw, LIKELY at least 60-75% of VOTE FRAUD occurs in “absentee boxes”.
(We EOs have “gotten very good” at STOPPING “in person vote fraud”.)

Oh really? So Trump recommended shutting down the country for a month and now reopening it in three phases over a period of six weeks or more over a ... flu? Is that what they are claiming? They need to get their lies straight.
