[Right.

The quacks are waiting till a piston or two seize in the cylinders to add a quart of oil to the engine, and then wonder why the engine dies.]

The difference with remdesivir is possibly that it can un-seize the engine. We’ll see. The company cautioned that the results are still anecdotal, and full details aren’t out, yet.

[The Chi-Coms have already duplicated Remdesivir, and actually tried to apply for the patents in February or March, but got shut down.

They still stole it. ]

They ended trials, which suggests to me that it worked, and they’re pirating the drug on the sly and using it on Chinese patients. My guess is that because of its novelty, manufacturing cost per dose will be hefty vs something like quinine where processes have been refined over many decades. Whatever the cost though, it’s cheaper than shutting the economy down.

Yes, I believe that HCQ doesn't much help if you get past a certain point, which is why I'm in favor of dosing upon presentation with symptoms.

Not a fan of damaged organs - hope the Remdesivir can alleviate some of that.

A lot of people don't understand that playing "chicken" with the economy is a VERY dangerous game.

Most of our "esteemed" legislators [the chicken players] are lawyers, not economists, financial people or businessmen.

And their GibsMeDat voters are even worse than creeps like WuhanNan & MadMax.
