EXCLUSIVE: COVID-19 originated in a Wuhan laboratory not as a bioweapon, but as part of China's effort to demonstrate that its efforts to identify and combat viruses are equal to or greater than the capabilities of the United States, multiple sources who have been briefed on the details of early actions by China's government and seen relevant materials tell Fox News.
This may be the "costliest government coverup of all time," one of the sources said.
The sources believe the initial transmission of the virus was bat-to-human, and that "patient zero" worked at the laboratory, then went into the population in Wuhan. Asked by Fox News' John Roberts about the reporting, President Trump remarked at Wednesday's coronavirus press briefing, "More and more we're hearing the story...we are doing a very thorough examination of this horrible situation."
Documents detail early efforts by doctors at the lab and early efforts at containment. The Wuhan wet market initially identified as a possible point of origin never sold bats, and the sources tell Fox News that blaming the wet market was an effort by China to deflect blame from the laboratory, along with the country's propaganda efforts targeting the U.S. and Italy.
U.S. Embassy officials warned in January 2018 about inadequate safety at the Wuhan Institute of Virology lab and passed on information about scientists conducting risky research on coronavirus from bats, The Washington Post reported Tuesday...…
Additionally, the sources tell Fox News the World Health Organization (WHO) was complicit from the beginning in helping China cover its tracks.

It’s a good lab, scientifically.
But I do believe it’s possible,mid not likely there was an event, a contamination that moved the virus in to the outside.
It could be something as dumb as a maintenance person cutting corners

The lab story accident is ridiculous.. As it was told this evening on Fox, a scientist somehow had bat tissue on his body, went to the market and then exposed his wife to the virus. Numerous scientists have disappeared or died. This was an intentional use of a bio weapon and the current story is BS. Also, it isn’t a stretch of the imagination to believe that there are some in our own government who could and would collaborate with the Chinese to take Trump down.

Not really. The virus is not a weapon, it is too weak and indiscriminate.
And it appears, if this “source” is to be believed the release was accidental/negligent.
However, if WHO complicity in a cover-up can be substantiated you can expect permanent withdraw of US funding.
At the very least, China tried to take advantage of the pandemic to harm us. The only remaining question is whether the initial release of the virus was intentional as well, or just an accident. The answer to that question hardly matters at this point; The rest of their clearly deliberate actions are more than enough evidence of their malicious intent.
We MUST respond by doing everything within our power to crush the Chinese government, while supporting pro-democracy activists within their population. I think an inarguable first step should be to seize all Chinese government assets deposited in the U.S., including all U.S. treasury debt held by them. I have read arguments that rather than defaulting on our debt to them, which could have severe consequences for the U.S.’s credit worthiness, we could simply seize the financial instruments themselves, since those debts exist only electronically and they have no outfield possession of them.
Then, I would explore the possibility, if it exists, of using emergency powers to order companies like Google to stop collaborating with China and to open up their search engines, social media platforms, etc. within China. Free their people to have open access to information and communication. If direct orders are not possible, instead threaten Silicon Valley ChiCom collaborators with a permanent ban on seeking any government contracts if they don’t comply.
Consider a permanent ban on all travel between the U.S. and China unless and until the ChiCom government either comes completely clean and verifiably changes its behavior, or steps down. This would inevitably harm some Silicon Valley companies, but collaborating with the enemy has consequences, and see the previous paragraph.
And these would be the “gentle”, “diplomatic” measures (remember, they have nearly destroyed the rest of the world economically, as well as killing thousands and thousands of our citizens, and have done it deliberately - they’re damned lucky we’re not nuking them right now).
If these measures don’t instill proper behavior in the ChiComs, then go to the next level: Take serious covert action to overthrow them. Serious?...absolutely. Unthinkable?...maybe at one time, but that time is long passed. What they have done is unprecedented. This is the first time one country has essentially attacked every other country on the planet. It must be responded to with equal seriousness.
The ChiCom government will not stop trying to undermine us and ultimately destroy us. That fact should now be crystal clear. If we don’t do something on the order of what I suggest above, we WILL find ourselves at all-out war with them at some point. That’s just an unavoidable conclusion.

However, that does NOT mean that the Chinese didn’t then recognize the danger of the virus, and then spent time weaponizing that power to make sure that other nations were going to damaged at least as significantly as China was set to be. Rush Limbaiugh (who I don’t follow regularly) did a huge segment on this possibility today, based on an article that may be authored by a US military source.
And....not to forget....the ChiComs had a trade delegation HERE, in the US, that left, on Jan 22...one day before Wuhan shut down.
Tell me they didn’t know that Wuhan was about to be shut down...and, WHY it was to be shut down.
Kind of like the Japanese communique sent the night before Pearl Harbor.
