THE TERM-LIMITED-FAILED PREZ CANDIDATE DEBLOBBIO's GOING NOWHERE.
DEBLOB DESPERATELY NEEDED THE VIRUS TO HANG ONTO HIS POWER
(AND TO ADVANCE HIS CORRUPT WIFE'S INANE POLITICAL AMBITIONS).

<><>De Blasio and NYC Officials continually downplayed COVID-19 Threat as the death rate skyrocketed.

<><> After Trump Restricted Travel to China, de Blasio and his top health official were actually telling NY'ers take the subway and attend parades months after President Donald Trump restricted travel to coronavirus-plagued China.

<><> “Here’s reality: This is a war-like situation,” de Blasio said in a March 14 interview with MSNBC’s Joy Reid. “We’re in a wartime scenario with a Mar-a-Lago attitude being used by the federal government,” he added, referencing Trump’s resort in Florida. Barbot was referring to a New York Chinatown parade, which celebrates China’s New Year and took place on Feb. 9. Barbot appeared to suggest Trump’s travel restrictions were racist in a Feb. 2 tweet to her followers.

<><> DeBLASIO SUCKED UP BIGTIME. “I want to be clear, this is about a virus, not a group of people. There is NO excuse for anyone to discriminate or stigmatize people of Asian heritage. We are here today to urge all New Yorkers to continue to live their lives as usual,” she said. As we gear up to celebrate the #LunarNewYear in NYC, I want to assure New Yorkers that there is no reason for anyone to change their holiday plans, avoid the subway, or certain parts of the city because of #coronavirus.

<><> The Mayor's sophmoric Health Commissioner, a latina doctor, argued in a local TV interview on Feb. 7 that the city is “telling New Yorkers, go about your lives, take the subway, go out, enjoy life.” She did say that citizens must practice good hygiene, but suggested the biggest threat comes from family members and not large packs of people. “And so we know that this virus can be transmitted from one individual to another, but that it’s typically people who live together,” she

=============================================

<><> Tempus fugit, and by March 5 de Blasio seemed to acknowledge the virus had spread beyond control.
<><> “You have to assume it could be anywhere in the city,” he said.
<><> Always careful to preserve his political bona fides, the Mayor did not want to cause undue alarm,
<><> Rev de Blasio then told NY'ers to go on with their normal lives, which left many confused about the danger they faced.
<><> De Blobbio's hand-plucked DODOBIRD health commissioner, sought to reassure NY'ers, especially commuters:
<><> “this is not something you’re going to contract in the subway or on the bus, the moron H/C actually said.”
<><> The mayor sucked-up bigtime, and reiterated her lunacy point several times in early March.

The average weekly deaths in NYC from ALL CAUSES is about 1,050. It doesn’t matter if 5,000 died last week or 10,000 died last week, it’s obviously not normal, and obviously the result of something that has changed. It’s obviously the virus that is killing them, and if it isn’t please tell me your theory about what killed 10,000 people when normally only 1,050 die in a week. Seriously, I’m listening. Actually I’m not.
The more morons who post on this site, the more morons I will call out.

NYC had 2,220 deaths from Influenza and Pneumonia in 2014

Another rough estimate for number of deaths in NYC every year,
from Quora - 1 death every 9 minutes, 158 per day, 57,000 per year

Like having a unknown life threatening condition but afraid to go to the doctor because it might be non-essential.

This is hilarious. This stupendous jerk is on a city "health committee." How utterly stupid
and self-serving these progressive ignoramuses sound up against the formidable virus.

Mark D. Levine, Chair of the New York City Council's health committee, lauded how
“huge crowds gathering in NYC’s Chinatown” was a “powerful show of defiance of #coronavirus scare....

Duped New Yorkers are urging DeBlasio to rid the city of his Hand-picked Health Commissioner.
She stupidly put NY'ers at risk with her sucking up and social justice garbage

On Feb. 2, with the city’s first suspected coronavirus case under investigation and China’s death toll skyrocketing, NYC’s first latina Health Commissioner Oxiris Barbot touted upcoming crowded NYC Chinese New Year events. “As we gear up to celebrate the #LunarNewYear in NYC, I want to assure New Yorkers that there is no reason for anyone to change their holiday plans, avoid the subway, or certain parts of the city because of #coronavirus,” she tweeted.

December 19, 2018---Mayor de Blasio And His Wife Announce First Latina Health Commissioner

NEW YORK—Mayor Bill de Blasio announced that the Latina Health Commissioner will double down on the agency’s commitment to achieving health equity. Dr. Barbot understands that improving the health of our city starts with keeping health equity at the center of our work,” said Mayor Bill de Blasio. “

First Lady Chirlane McCray: “Dr. Barbot has dedicated her life to eliminating disparities and injustices in health care,” said “I am proud to welcome a public servant so deeply committed to ensuring that the WHOLE patient is treated—mind and body. New York City is fortunate to have such an exceptional new Health Commissioner.”

I just ran the numbers again from the New York Times data pulled from github...

date cases deaths
2020-04-09 159937 7067
2020-04-10 170512 7844
2020-04-11 180458 8627
2020-04-12 188694 9385
2020-04-13 195031 10056
2020-04-14 202208 10834

Looks like the progression I have been seeing...

In the end the only way to measure the true death toll will be to compare the actual overall deaths to the expected number of deaths.

In the US about 85 people per 10,000 die each year.
In Italy the rate is 103 per 10,000 because they have an older population.

Without the Wuhan flu we would have had 2,750,000 people die in the US this year. What will the actual number be... maybe 2,850,000???

If they are backdating, instead of a one-day spike with all new-old cases on one day, wouldn’t;’t they adjust the back dates based on the dates of the “new deaths.”

example 3000 die soon the 20th but they say 7000 because they went back and added 4000 old deaths which were previously attributed to something else.

Instead they should back-date and adjust the old numbers on the date the persona actually died.

I don't see evidence of it. The NY Times explains:
For each date, we show the cumulative number of confirmed cases and deaths as reported that day in that county or state. All cases and deaths are counted on the date they are first announced.

DOJ should be investigating NY and Deblasio for fraud. The more COVID deaths, the more the money they get, which is a dumbass way of doing things. Should be rewarded for having less, not more. Thats the reason Chomo wont allow the Trump drugs to be used. More deths = Mo Money! Mo Money! Mo Money!

Not directed at you Kas, but this cannot be stated enough:

1. NY wont get a penny for people that die at home. COVID money for hospitals is through Medicare.

2. Many of these people were told to self quarantine, and they were suspected but not tested because there were not enough tests.

3. ALL of the flu deaths in the United States are based on the death certificate. Pneumonia during flu season: Its a flu related death. Influenza is not a reportable cause of death. ALL DEATHS RELATED TO INFLUENZA ARE ALSO ESTIMATED.

I don’t write this change anyone’s minds. I am not arguing for or against any of these deaths being counted as anything—people die at home all the time. Some probably did, some probably died of something else.

This whole death count thing is stupid. The whole prediction thing is stupid.

We should base being open or closed on whether the local hospitals have room. If there are five ICU beds...the the world run free. If they get filled up, start slowing stuff down.

Jerking the throttle open and closed is not the answer to running any “machine.” Steady pressure applied is always the best ways to prevent damage.

It’s not the deaths. We all can agree that many people died.

We can estimate, based on medical history (calling their docs, going for a test, getting sent home, being exposed in their household...) that some of the are probably from COVID.

Its easy to take tissue samples and get them tested later. Thats not a big deal at all.

What is absurd is that the first thing the flu-fools think is that it is some ghetto conspiracy to get more money.

If you die at home, you are not getting money from anyone but your life insurance company.

But the flu-fools (My term for conspiracy nuts on both sides) feed each other with silly ideas that are not based on any reality.
