What we are witnessing is the planned demolition of the US and it’s constitution. This goes way beyond a virus. Some of these governors might as well be trampling on the flag. I know the virus is real, but it is essential that we do not get hoodwinked into thinking that these over the top draconian measures are essential to mitigate this virus. It will be interesting to see what happens with some of these planned protests (eg. Michigan) as to how the “authorities” will respond.

Riding the DC Metro out to Dulles Airport, I could see why Virginia is turning blue. Across Northern Virginia, in what were recently virgin hard-wood forests, high-rise apartment houses and condos, soon to be filled with bureaucrats and lobbyists, are springing up like toad stools.
Try to understand the reality of the political current. It’s a lot louder than crickets.

They are Democraps in contrl. They already know what he is going to do. What needs to happen is either Virginia grows some balls and starts a march on Richmond with guns or change their motton from “Sic Semper Tyrannis” to “Bendous overis and take thus up thy buttocks!”

Sigh. I have lived my adult life in a state populated by total scumbag politicians (the worst of the worst) and any vote I cast in federal, state or local elections is always completely worthless, but...I vote anyway.
The Democrat Party has rigged the systems in this state in such a way they will probably never go to anything but Leftists ever again.
I think I understand when a citizen of a communist country sees the USA going down the road of socialism, and is very upset about it, because I feel the same way watching Red states go blue. It really bothers me.
Knowing they do in the most underhanded fashion possible makes it even harder to watch.

I live near Bristol, right across the Tennessee line and most of my family lives in Bristol, Va. Most of the people that I know that live on the VA side of Bristol wouldn’t mind at all to be absorbed into TN nowadays. The ones that would object just do not have their minds right!!
This can entirely be laid at the feet of the VA GOP leadership and the VA GOP voters.
The leaders backstabbed Cuccinelli and promptly ran milquetoast/Democrat Lite candidates that made people want to stay home. VA GOP voters didn’t hold their nose and vote GOP, staying home instead.
The first thing VA GOP voters need to do is fire every single VA GOP leader who had anything to do with blocking Cuccinelli and their last slate of candidates. All of them need to go. Actions need to have consequences.
