New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman accused President Trump of using misleading audio of her coronavirus reporting during a White House video at Mondays press briefing meant to defend his response to the pandemic.
In the audio clip from her late March appearance on the Times podcast The Daily, which was played as part of an administration video of generally positive news coverage, Haberman said the president was widely criticized for stopping flights from China from entering the U.S., adding he was accused of xenophobia and racism.
At the end of the day, it was probably effective, because it did actually take a pretty aggressive measure against the spread of the virus, the White House correspondent said.
Their use of the audio is misleading," Haberman tweeted. "I went on to say I said he treated that travel limitation as a Mission Accomplished moment, she posted.
And then he did basically nothing for over a month. Which was our story yesterday, she added in another tweet.

They hate it when their own words are thrown in their faces.
BIDEN&COVID for 2020!
Were not supposed to believe our lying eyes, right Mags?
They’re hyperventilating. Trump got them to throw the kitchen sink too early. They’re out of ammo now.
She needs to stay with the NYTs. Construction trades are definitely out. Ive seen guys on scaffolds turn around, grab, and shake their junk at others yelling bite me. Not what I would do, just relaying a story from a friend. :)
Is she the blonde one I kept seeing at today’s press conference who wouldn’t shut up and basically treated President Trump like she was a teenager and he was her step-dad whose guts she hated? That female was unbelievably disrespectful. She did all but roll her eyes up in her head when they showed her reactions as President Trump was responding to her.
MH needs to investigate why DaCommieo failed to protect NYC.
In most of the rest of the country, Dr. Fauxcy’s brilliant, sophisticated, highly nuanced isolation solution [shut it all down] has grossly overachieved.
NYC has all sorts of issues that flogging Wyoming can’t fix.
“She did all but roll her eyes up in her head when they showed her reactions as President Trump was responding to her.”
Did they test her for TDS?
No.
That was Paula Reid, with SeeBS.
She woulda flunked that test in SPADES!
There wasn’t even a hint of respect for the Office of the President. I couldn’t believe it.
Thanks.
They definitely miscalculated.
People are concerned about their families, their jobs, food, toilet paper, and these fools thought people would care about narrative about Trump.
“In October 2016, one month before Donald Trump defeated Hillary Clinton in the U.S. presidential election, a document was released by WikiLeaks that showed the Clinton campaign’s use of Haberman to place sympathetic stories in Politico. “[The Clinton campaign] has a very good relationship with Maggie Haberman of Politico over the last year.”
“We have had her tee up stories for us before and have never been disappointed. While we should have a larger conversation in the near future about a broader strategy for reengaging the beat press that covers HRC, for this we think we can achieve our objective and do the most shaping by going to Maggie.”

To call her a journalist is a deceit. She is a fully invested partisan.
It’s a Pandemic in NYT.
To call her a journalist is a deceit. She is a fully invested partisan.
Excellent!
They thought they had control of the narrative, and he took it away from them. Again.
Like yeah Mags, he did nothing for the next month...
Oh God, for better libel laws
Here’s a link to a timeline of the Trump administration’s response to the outbreak. Lying Maggie is claiming that virtually nothing was done by the administration for the month of February. You can’t insist the lights are off when your eyes are close.
She should never be permitted another question
If her network lets her take a seat, they should know it will be wasted
