Nowhere in this very lengthy statement/pact is the mention of helping the economic well-being of the people (other than the phrase: “approach for reopening our economies”). Disgusting, but unfortunately not surprising.

This could be the makings of a whole new communist country comprised of what was once California, Oregon and Washington. I wonder what it will be called; maybe the West Coast Gulag.
There is going to be a rush to re-open soon. By end of April, most states will have been closed 30 days and state/county tax coffers will start to dry up. Then, as budgets are reworked and state/county workers lose planned raises and maybe even furloughed, we will open in a hurry.
These type of regional alliances are going to become more widespread as states compete with each other for PPE and other resources in the open market.
Gulf coast states may be next.
These States are revenue starved and will be relying on the Federal government to bail them out. Trump needs to let it be known that States involved in economic jihad are on their own. They’ll jump right in line.

This agreement is not about any of the measures listed in the article. It is about protecting each of the west coast states’ import markets so that each state is equally burdened by these measures. China still rules.

Nothing of substance was announced here, the states are going to get together to think about maybe reopening sometime possibly? It’s another attempt to sabotage the economy and stall out the illegal lockup until election day.
Trump needs to get ahead of this by recommending that ALL states reopen by May 1st (if not sooner). Governors can follow the recommendation or not (most will), but any that don’t will have to answer to their populace. Also governors can’t restrict travel between states or come up with state pacts (commerce clause), this is clear and Trump needs to send the justice department after any such law breaking.

Isn’t it strange that these leftists what are the about shutting it down and keeping it close down indefinitely until Trump started talking about reopening, then they all started To talk about reopening as well? It’s almost like they know Trump is right but refused to admit it.
Otherwise they would do something other than merely move to, change and corrupt, civilized states. If they weren't terminally stupid when it comes to news, they might do something constructive like, change their states.
