As late as February 29, Dr. Anthony Fauci was telling America it was safe to go to the mall, the movies, and the gym.
During a Saturday, February 29 appearance on the NBCs far-left Today Show, Fauci was asked point blank if Americans should stop enjoying their daily routines. Fauci answered point blank, No.
Heres a transcript of the pertinent part:
TODAY SHOW: So Dr. Fauci, its Saturday morning in America, people are waking up right now with real concerns about this; they want to go to malls, and movies, maybe the gym, as well. Should we be changing our habits, and if so, how?
FAUCI: No. Right now at this moment, there is no need to change anything that youre doing on a day-by-day basis. Right now the risk is still low, but this could change. Ive said that many times, even on this program. You got watch out, because although the risk is low now, you dont need to change anything youre doing. When you start to see community spread, this could change, and force you to become much more attentive to doing things that would protect you from, spread.
Fauci, sounded very different on Sunday during an appearance on far-left CNN.
CNNLOL: The New York Times reported yesterday that you and other top officials wanted to recommend social and physical distancing guidelines to President Trump as far back as the third week of February, but the administration didnt announce such guidelines to the American public until March 16th, almost a month later. Why?
FAUCI: As Ive said many times, we look at it from a pure health standpoint. We make a recommendation. Often the recommendation is taken. Sometimes its not. But it is what it is. We are where we are right now.

Fauci changes depending on who he’s talking to.
Dementia onset? He’s 80ish years old.
No he doesn’t have dementia.
Context matters.
The Fauci haters are getting as bad as eh Trump haters.
It’s time for both sides to stop trying to ‘word-trap’ somebody for things they said at the very beginning of this pandemic. Most of us knew nothing about this disease two months ago, so of course, our responses may have changed since then.
Rigth!
The Fauci hate is over the top. People need to learn to look at the big picture.
Feb 29 is when he is saying it’s is fine to go out and completely do all you’ve ever done.
Now he’s saying that he wasn’t believing that in mid-February.
Which is it?
Exactly. We know way more today than back in February.
Stop picking on him.
He was just reacting to the video which upset him.
ooopsie. wrong Hillary narrative.
It’s not a word trap.
It’s a matter of the advice he was giving on Feb 29.
If I tell you on record on Feb 29 to marry Mary Jo your neighbor, but then say on Apr 13 that I was telling you in mid-February not to marry Mary Jo, then we have a problem.
Little marxist fart
Yes, they are.
I guess the Fauci haters think if they can railroad Fauci out of town, then the economy will magically reopen, regardless of what's happening with the Coronavirus case count, or the status of protective masks, or medical treatments.
Or maybe they just want to blame someone for the shutdowns. And they can't blame Trump. And 40 different governors just won't do. So Fauci is their fall guy.
I take it that “far-left” means anything to the left of Breitbart, which, I guess, probably includes the rest of the universe.
Must watch. Fauci is destroyed. He has done a lot of harm to the economy and made plenty of mistakes, besides backstabbing the president.

It’s not a matter of hating Fauci.
It’s a matter of his on tape giving advice on one date, and on another date having him say that he wasn’t.
There isn’t any hate involved in that at all. It’s a contradiction that a sane person can point out.
Breitbart is middle of the road conservative.
Last year in the USA we had upwards of 13,000 people die of HIV/AIDS.
We don’t need no stinkin’ context! All we need is GP headlines!
