Can the President write an EO releasing hydroxychloroquine and zinc for prescription by ANY physician in any setting? The nation could begin opening up immediately thereafter.

He can write an EO dealing with the executive branch and perhaps Veterans hospitals? Not positive about that. But EOs covering all private sector doctors? I don’t think so but I could be wrong.

Of course FDC and CDC are under Exec branch but I believe they have already said that medication can be used.

That was a question I have been wondering myself. I heard today that there was a death recorded on the Navy Ship and the first thing I wondered was if they had even tried the hydroxychloroquine and zinc for that patient!!!.

He doesn’t have to.
The medications have been in use so long Any Doctor can proscribe them for ancillary purposes.
