My son-in-law has a home remodeling business. He has been shut down by order of our governor, Tommie the Commie Wolf.

My daughter is livid. Why is it too dangerous for her husband to work inside an empty house alone, while it would be perfectly fine for him to take a job at Walmart and be exposed daily to huge crowds of people?

She is a nurse and understands the risks of infectious disease.

The upshot is that we can NOT close Walmart or Kroger because people would starve. And if we have no choice but to let them remain open, then dammit, we may as well let every other public business remain open.

Because herd immunity is coming, whether Dr. Tony likes it or not.

Every proponent that I’ve seen of extended shutdowns is salaried.

I’ve never seen an hourly employee or business owner favor them.

To expedite solutions, cancel without backpay, government salaries for the duration.
