What Fauci is saying isn’t false.

Fauci is saying he recommended lock downs much earlier, but that Trump got a lot of push back on the idea from other advisors.

Look at how much push back Trump is getting on lock downs now. Imagine if he had locked down 3 weeks earlier when there were much fewer cases.

Unfortunately, we probably would have been no closer to having masks available for everyone or testing as widely available as needed. So it would have been 3 more weeks of economic pain.

Yes doing so probably would have flattened new case growth at a much lower level. And would have indeed saved lives.

But all the Flubros would be hollering, Trump shut down the economy over 500 deaths.

California was the first state wide lockdown on March 19th. At the time there were 13,865 cases in the US and 206 deaths.

Now imagine that lock downs occurred 3 weeks earlier on February 27th. When there was only 54 cases and 0 deaths. The outcry would have been horrendous.

Perhaps if vigorous contract tracing and quarantine of contacts had started a few weeks earlier, the virus would have been contained and not spread like wildfire.

I believe it was inevitable, impossible to keep out of the U.S. and probably impossible to contain.

Fauci went out on
January 21 and said the virus posed no threat to Americans “at this time.”

Well gee Danny, according to your logic I guess we should just close down permanently, huh? Sounds like the big govt hoaxers have you eating out of their hands.

It’s perfect for the media. There’s no right answer. We didn’t have good data and China/W.H.O. lied.

PDJT acted in January, so he was certainly taking it seriously, anyone saying otherwise is full of it. We’ve gone from estimations of millions down to 10’s of thousands and these people want to play Monday morning quarterback over +/- a couple of weeks on the shut-down - when we didn’t have the data!

We’ve seen the worst of the virus. Now this POTUS needs to figure out how to get this economy going again. This one-two punch has been handled extremely well so far, I’m glad PDJT is leading. I can’t imagine if it were Hillary/Obama/Biden/etc..

“What Fauci is saying isn’t false.”

Fauci should be sophisticated enough to know how his words will be interpreted by the MSM. I imagine he did know.

He said “Obviously you could logically say that if you had a process that was ongoing and you started mitigation earlier you could’ve saved lives, obviously.” That is not “obvious”, even you look at things with tunnel vision from a narrow medical perspective.

And the President shouldn’t and doesn’t look at things from that puerile, narrow perspective, and Fauci must have known better. I don’t think he’s that stupid.

No he didn't, and I'm not a Flubro.

On February 29, he was saying that people should just go about their normal business.

Yet he let Jake Tapper insinuate that Fauci was telling President Trump to initiate social distancing, etc the third week of Febury.

That's garbage.

He needs to go...

But the problem is we had no idea at the time how many people were infected, cause Faucci’s team screwed up the testing kits and they all had to be remade.

What exactly would we shutting down for?

Why do a full shut down

If you look at the maps the areas most effected were dense populated areas, if you look at the area with the most infections, NYC has that subway system that is nothing but a giant germ incubator. That is how is spread.

Shutting down the subways would have saved lives.

The subways are all still running to this day and are just as packed because DeBozo cut the number of trains running each day.
