Im just repeating what my research back then found. Sorry you dont like hearing what the most interesting thing I found out was.
Most deaths were caused by dirty steam. Pouring water on nuke fire creates radioactive steam/dust that enters lungs.
The proper way to have fought it was using a concrete containment.
Pouring water on the fire was the major cause of death and spread of radiation.
Based upon what Ive read, and discussions with experts
Well I guess they don’t need any robots in Japan any more. It sounds like your willing to strap a go pro to your head and enter any melted down reactor for a good look.
I found the HBO series ‘Chernobyl’ to be quite riveting. Factual? No idea, never been to Ukraine.
You are a fool.
It depends on how much radiation one gets. Those first responders at Chernobyl got massive doses that were fatal pretty fast. Overall I personally believe the evidence supports radiation homesis at lower levels.
MIDNIGHT IN CHERNOBYL is a very good book.
We actually have some data now. Though not statistically significant, the populations around the Japanese nuclear bombs that survived the initial destruction, have had slightly fewer cancer deaths than the rest of Japan.
Just thought I missed the movie connection, typical for a non-movie watcher. Never saw the Chernobyl series.
Did read a book about some Russian mafia types deliberately setting off a Chernobyl type event.
