One day I decided to thoroughly read up on Chernobyl disaster. It was very interesting and enlightening. Wikipedia at the time did a pretty good job of explaining.
The most interesting fact?
The early responders to the accident went so far as to pick up with bare hands the fissile material. And at the time I read about it, about 5-8 yrs ago, none of them had died from it.
There is virtually no greater scam than the anti nuclear propaganda that has been perpetrated upon us.
We know there are grave short term effects from radiation, but the effects 20-30 years out have always been a guessing game.
Waht is with the dancing guy?
I did a VR “tour” of Chernobyl, including a helicopter lift in and out of one of the cooling towers.
There were visits to some of the now all but decayed CARNIVAL-TYPE PARK, some huge government buildings and some apartments.
Spooky and creepy.
Wonder of those were the trees that glowed faintly immediately after their dosing. If so, that smoke is bad stuff.
Dont believe a word of it
One of my favorite chemistry professors at The University of Texas Arlington had been part of the Russian national guard that responded to Chernobyl as a young man. He had super interesting stories, also that everyone he knew from that time had died of cancer. Years later after I graduated I saw that he had died as well. Not to contradict I just find the whole thing interesting
well with all doom and gloom sometimes its easier to poke some fun
The same thing is going on today, just in Chinese.
There’s a thriving population of radioactive animals that have taken over the abandoned Chernobyl exclusion zone, even though the area is toxic for humans
The odds of that being true are slim to none.
Not saying they are connected, but these fires are right near, and along one of the way-point areas and routes used by civilian dressed SVR and Russian spetsnaz in transit, to multiple U.S./UA training sites.
The fires are not that big, and almost can’t be in this area, this time of year. The forest are mixed, but there is quite a bit of hardwood in this area.
Would have to look at the weather forensically in time, but upon initial observation, and known seasonal weather patterns, this is already not normal for this time of year.
Right now, the wind direction is generally normal for this time of year.
That being said, at the moment of the Sat image published here, the wind was normal from NW to SE, and the fires are more aligned along the covert transit routes from NE to SW.
As well, prolonged exposure to 2.3 sieverts/per hour is not really a good thing. Natural “background” radiation generally ranges from 0.16-0.40 microsieverts/h.
I am sure they have been looked at a whole lot in the past week, but it would be good to see the historical radiation envelope.
Midnight at chernobyl is a must read.
He died young... the world lost of good person.
I’m going with ‘none’...
Then feel free to research it just like I did. It was very revealing
Sadly your statement makes no scientific sense based on the known properties of radioactive material Vs Biology. So I would say that in this case the propaganda is coming from you.
