during sars or seasonal flu, did they go begging people to come in and get tested?....did they set up testing spots?....
Don’t know. Don’t care. Wasn’t the purpose of me posting this article - I posted the article to have sourced stats on beds available/used, ICU beds available/used, ventilators available/used, etc.
Nope, definitely not “peaking” here in Texas.
Big D is at least 3 weeks behind NYC and New Orleans in out peak. Which means we will peak out early May my net would be first week of May. Don’t forget DFW international was and still is a designed airport to bring people here from infected counties and give them additional “screening” which means nothing. The screening caught exactly zero of the people who flew in too infected us.
I don’t think Dallas will ever peak. It won’t blow up like NYC or other areas where All classes/ages of people ride public transport/taxis/Uber.
The underclass and the young are going to keep it circulating for months and months and months. Schools won’t be able to open in August.
Since herd immunity won’t come until at least 60% of a population gets it, we all need to plan on getting it...or plan on being poor.
