The Grand Canyon was once flat land with a river running through. Now it has to be preserved at all cost because that’s “normal”.

I laugh because they seem to want it to be a certain point in time...but how do they know that temp was correct...that sea level at that point in time was correct...yet they say it is because it was....and so if it was then it should be for any future point in time...yet we know that cannot be because it was not.

There is no normal. It's strictly kinetic.
