President Trump on Friday joked that he asked Dr. Anthony Fauci to move to New York and run against Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez because he could win easily.
I told Tony Fauci, why dont you move to New York, run against AOC, you will win easily, Trump quipped during the daily briefing of his Coronavirus Task Force.

But he wont run.
Well he’s right.
Did Trump mean in the primary? ;)
He’s not about to give up all this unelected power he has over the whole country!
you’re right. :)
Hardly a compliment... since she has the IQ of a cocker spaniel.
I’m not laughing. Fauci is going to destroy Trump’s Presidency.
President Trump pointed out Faucis partisan politics by that comment, at the same time Fauci took it as flattering because hes so smitten with himself and what he views as his cleverness.

Trump 72
Biden 78
Bernie 78
Fauci 79
This country is going to be ran by old men.
Spot on!
Look for Fauci to write a book after the pandemic panic is over, and look for him to attack Trump as indecisive and incompetent and clueless and just plain wrong.
Happens all the time with those that are not Trump supporters and are working behind the scenes to make Trump look bad.
That will happen as the October surprise of this year.
Why would he take a demotion to the Congress when he can control the entire economy?
You're giving cocker spaniels a bad name.
Interesting that President Trump would select a leftist commie for him to run against. He could have picked any pol in general or even a moderate republican. Instead, he almost reflexively paired him up against a lunatic dingbat democrat - DJT obviously views him as a leftist.
Only if has Debbie as his running mate.
He trolled him and Fauci didn’t get it.
I doubt it. Not in that district.
But either way, the voters lose.
Pretty good prediction.
