President Trump on Friday joked that he asked Dr. Anthony Fauci to move to New York and run against Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez because he could “win easily.”
“I told Tony Fauci, why don’t you move to New York, run against AOC, you will win easily,” Trump quipped during the daily briefing of his Coronavirus Task Force.

President Trump pointed out Fauci’s partisan politics by that comment, at the same time Fauci took it as flattering because he’s so smitten with himself and what he views as his cleverness.

Look for Fauci to write a book after the pandemic panic is over, and look for him to attack Trump as indecisive and incompetent and clueless and just plain wrong.
Happens all the time with those that are not Trump supporters and are working behind the scenes to make Trump look bad.

Interesting that President Trump would select a leftist commie for him to run against. He could have picked any pol in general or even a moderate republican. Instead, he almost reflexively paired him up against a lunatic dingbat democrat - DJT obviously views him as a leftist.
