"During a COVID-19 press briefing today Governor Tom Wolf recommended that all Pennsylvanians wear a mask any time they leave their homes for life-sustaining reasons." (emphasis mine)
From Gov. Wolf Calls for Universal Masking
Did I miss something? Since when has "recommended" meant "dragged off the bus by cops"?
I noticed this at the market today - the announcement about one-way aisles, face masks, etc. said it was being done to meet "requirements".
Taken 13 million one-dollar bills, put a special mark on 443 of them, mix them randomly and line them up end-to-end. The line of bills will be 1,231 miles in length, and stretch from Philadelphia to Oklahoma City. Now blindfold yourself, walk along that line, and stop at any point, then reach down and pick up a dollar bill. Your chance of picking up one of the 443 marked ones is the same as your chance of dying from Coronavirus in Pennsylvania.
How did CDC "guidelines" mutate into mandates and "recommendations" morph into requirements?
