Yeah, but lots more cops around with nothing to do.
This time Burt might not get away...
I wasnt really thinking about bert...
A lot of those cops though would rather not make a traffic stop in case the driver has a fever and a bad cough.
The police around here are mostly “social distancing”, and will not answers calls to fender-bender type accidents, so as not to risk exposure. Going 10-15 mph over the speed limit on the major city roads seems to be mostly acceptable the past few weeks, and have not seen any LEO out watching.
The cops may be out, they don't appear to be pulling anyone over around here. Most are doing 20 over the limit, flying right by the cops who sit there and do nothing.
I'm not kidding. Speed limits around me appear to barely be recommendations anymore.

I commute ~50 miles round trip and have been seeing practically NO police when I used to see at least a dozen each way. Now it is one every other day. I have even been discussing it with my co-workers that have long drives.
Especially with all the donut shops closed.
The cops in our state are stopping no one under 90 mph. And if its a Lamborghini on an open stretch, they simply admire it.

Wait until the economic crunch hits all the small towns out there. Were going to see a huge increase in traffic enforcement for revenue, I expect.
