Living Too Long Is Also a Loss
I dunno. I'm very grateful for every one of my Grandmother's 94 years. She taught me important things, up until and INCLUDING the last few months when she was bedridden and 'out of her mind' - because Love, Duty, and Promises made long before, *demanded* that I take care of her. I LEARNED very valuable things from that.
I learned important things about her life and about Life in general; about my own strengths and weakness; and how to care for someone else who might suffer the same situation in the future. Most importantly, I learned what really matters in life.
I wonder what Zeke's cutoff point is, and how he decides that his determination is correct for everyone, and every family.
Seems like he's trying to play God, and limit the possibilities of God and Life to what's convenient to mere human exigencies and calculations.
