Michigan will remain under a statewide stay-at-home order until April 30 as the coronavirus pandemic continues, Gov. Gretchen Whitmer announced Thursday, albeit with some additional restrictions.
The order, which has been in effect since March 24, was initially due to expire after April 13. During a Thursday afternoon press conference, Whitmer said the continued increase in COVID-19 cases and deaths in Michigan made an extension of the order unavoidable.
Surprise! Not.
She wanted to go to mid June like the jerk in VA. Mi manged to keep their GOP legislator they said no.
Is she correct?
Half Wit.
As of mid-March 2020, the pandemic of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has had a more moderate impact in Taiwan than in many neighboring countries, with relatively few infections overall.[5][6][7] The first case was announced on 21 January 2020.
The Taiwanese government integrated data from the national healthcare system, immigration, and customs authorities to aid in the identification and response to the virus. Government efforts are coordinated through the National Health Command Center (NHCC) of the Taiwan Centers for Disease Control, established to aid in disaster management for epidemics following the 2004 SARS outbreak.[8]
The Journal of the American Medical Association states that Taiwan engaged in 124 discrete action items to prevent the spread of the disease, including early screening of flights from Mainland China and the tracking of individual cases.[9][6]
Taiwan's handling of the outbreak has received international praise for its effectiveness in quarantining the people and by using the "electronic fence" to slow down the virus, despite being unable to gather WHO information due to being barred by China, and is seen as the model for other countries to learn from.[10][11] As of 7 April, 39,011 tests had been conducted in Taiwan with the vast majority not confirming a coronavirus diagnosis.[12]
Sounds like they didn't get to wiki, yet!
Communism
Nationally, it looks like we hit the peak of daily new cases on April 4.
“Whitmer said something about how Taiwan”
I believe it was Singapore and it turned out they let a bunch of foreign workers in and it got going again.
Thank you. I seem to have a hard time listening to the Dim-Whit, Half-Whit, or whatever she regards herself as.
MCL 30.405(2):
(2) Subsection (1) does not authorize the seizure, taking, or confiscation of lawfully possessed firearms or ammunition.
You can imagine the fury among Dem planners at this restriction on their plans.
They should keep it for the tiny corner of the state where almost all of the cases and deaths are taking place.
For example, ln the limited instance when stepping out for groceries, we see grocery stores limiting supermarket access to fewer and fewer patrons to maintain the distance required under current social distancing protocol. Once inside, each aisle of the grocery store has arrows dictating the direction for the flow of traffic. Registers limit the distance between patrons . Diana points out that certain locations (LA, DC)_deny access to anyone not wearing a mask.
In the linked video, the host, Jason Goodman asks, how long before they limit access to any building or business unless patrons are willing to have their hands scanned for a chip which identifies vaccination records?
Build a wall around Detroit
I’ll take the MI Blue State cash and the Fed cash...but it won’t change my mind. Now we wait for what Lansing thinks we should do about the “racial disparities” among COVID-19 cases in the Metro Detroit area.
She is lying again.
Taiwan: 380 cases, 1 death, new cases continue to decrease
Detroit Metro (Wayne, Oakland, Macomb): Over 18,000 cases, 915 deaths.
She is a lying propagandist using this virus to exert powers she doesn't have.
When people like this attain power solely through getting a majority of the voters to believe their lies, and get away with it, we are in a post republican era. Ahead lies true democracy, mob rule.
