Yes, in the sense that Dems are campaigning way to the left.
No, in the sense that most Dems are bribeable by their lobbyists, and don’t have the unified full-bore approach to Communism that Bernie does. They’re more concerned with maintaining power than any particular vision of society or patriotism. Right now, Bernie and AOC are selling well, so the other Dems will pander to that.
I am reminded of a scene in “The Social Network” when Sean Parker of Napster meets with Facebook founders Mark Zuckerberg and his partner Eduardo. Sean Parker claims that he “brought down the record companies”. Eduardo is hostile and says, “No you didn’t. They won in court. Napster lost.”
Parker smiles and says “Would you like to buy a Tower Records, Eduardo?”
The music industry is all streaming now. Because Napster won.
The Democrats are a far Left party now. Because Bernie won.

One could argue that Bernie beat both Biden and the GOPe as socialist thought and action now permeates American society. Yes the contagion was the impetus for this shift, but once ideology is legislated, it is damn near impossible to go back to the old normal.

Bernie Sanders is not withdrawing from the 2020 POTUS race. He will remain on the ballot right up to and into the Democrat Convention. He will make life miserable for literal Democrat moron, Joe Biden....period!!! I would rather have seen Sanders nominated so he could lose the election. Mainstream Democrat liberalism consists of selling reckless socialist policies as responsible mainstream conservatism. Bernie told the truth. He’s a socialist with socialist policies. Dems would have discovered exactly how much voters abhor socialism.
