There’s thousands of pictures of him shaking hands before he was President.
A very good question for Fauci to answer. Will the corrupt media ever ask that? Not a chance.
The caveat of germophobe was written just because of President Trump - obviously he takes risks, even the risk of shaking hands since becoming President; although not Nancy Pelosi’s.
I would personally rather shake hands and make a virus have to deal with my bodies exterior defenses than inject one via a vaccine directly into my body.
i'll vote for that
This guy needs to go home.
Dump Fausi!
Seeing as how your advice to Pres. Trump is to keep the country locked down until you scientists have a cure for Covid-19!
Hows about your going back to your lab and coming up with a cure for AIDS first, then tell us what, in your not so humble opinion we the people of America, next need to do?
Oh, and please take your very good, honest and reliable, Dr. Tedros with you and double lock those doors. Well attach some explosives on the outside to go off when opened from the inside!
Sincerely,
PS please take Pope Francis with you and his ungodly Climate Change models and put them where the sun never shines!
Handshakes, at least to me, tell me about a person. I was taught by my father at a young age about shaking hands. There is an etiquette to shaking hands. It's different for men and women. I also learned the term, 'fish of a handshake', as being a sign of weakness, a lack of confidence and fortitude. Handshakes are a social construct, steeped in history, as are a military salutes. Both are sometimes taught. However, there's also an intuitive meaning from life experience - just like seeing Fauci's demeanor and hearing him speak.
It is nobody's business if someone doesn't want to shake hands, but rightly or wrongly, people will be judged by how they shake hands or if they do not shake hands. If two camps of people evolve in the future where one shakes hands and the other does not, it's origin will be based in fear or lack of fear.
There are somethings I am too old to change. Shaking hands is one of them. I will not fist-bump, because of it's prison origin. I will not wear a ball cap sideways because of its origin; migrants working in fields moved the brim of their hats around their head to shade themselves from sun. And I do not high-five because of it black culture origins. Those things are beneath me. I have positive aspirations above the bottom of society. I am conservative. And as a conservative I am reluctant to change because I know what works. I'm probably flawed because I care about where things some from and I assign meaning to them. I don't do this out of fear. They are constructs to seek opportunity. That is a positive thing.
No way anybody is forcing me to take a vaccine.
What about fooling around?
That involves more then shaking hands...
I think the good doctor fantasizes about putting everyone in the world of George Orwell's 1984, whereby there is this telescreene in every household watching everything you do, and a very stern electronic voice to scold you if you deviate from what the rulers demand in anyway. Upon repeated violations, you are carted off to the dreaded room 101, where you very worst nightmare will be visited upon you.
He needs to start touting/pushing it. The governors, especially the Dem gov., won't do it. My idiot governor (Sisolak, NV) is still 'ordering' new shutdowns and restrictions even as news of incorrect models and decrease of cases comes to light.
Im good with this. I shake thousands of hands a year. Its a stupid custom that I wish would go away.
