Tucker Carlson wonders how Americans will react if health authorities forcibly remove family members from their homes following a World Health Organization official’s suggestion that this scenario could happen.
During his monologue last night, the Fox News hosted drew attention to a statement made by Dr. Michael Ryan, executive director of the World Health Organization’s Health Emergencies Program, back on March 30 which was not reported by the mainstream media.
Ryan was asked by a reporter; “Do you think that home quarantine will be as effective anywhere for people who are positive, or would central quarantine be needed in order to have the same success that China has had?”
“In some senses, transmission has been taken off the streets and pushed back into family units,” responded Dr. Ryan. “Now we need to go and look in families to find those people who may be sick and remove them and isolate them in a safe and dignified manner.”
Responding to Ryan’s comments, Carlson said; “Just so you know, we’re coming to your house, seizing your children and ‘isolating them in a safe and dignified manner’ – whatever that means.”
He then cautioned that such a statement “might trigger violence – people don’t respond well when you threaten to take their kids, but Ryan said it was no big deal.”
During the height of the epidemic in Wuhan, China, several videos emerged showing people being physically removed from their homes by police.

I’ll never forget that day. One of the worst. Couldn’t believe the photo was taken anywhere in America.

Here is the solution.
Fly a Mexican flag on your house. The storm troopers will move on to the next house.

Nice quote.
IMHO, are certain things that transcend our lives and more important... our way of life is one.
It might help to think of this a war... war against our economy, war against our families. Unfortunately people will die.
Do we defend our families and way of life by hiding in the basement until the threat is gone or do we fight by preserving our way of life. Unfortunately, this threat is not going away and will return again and again.
That means being brave and working when the risk is great that we might contact covid and die. A strong economy will provide us stability and “supply” us while we fight and work on a solution and win this war.

If they send folks out to do this, and those folks don’t end up coming home to their families, then in short order all families will be more secure.

I had to read up on Solzhenitsyn. Very interesting. As a child, I remember his name being mentioned.
He had an interesting perspective since he was held captive.

Let the government start with NCY, NO, LA, SF, Chicago, etc. If any of them make it out alive, then there will be fewer to harass the rest of the country. They will most likely not be up to the battle they will face if they try.

That said, I think they are using the current situation to gauge how compliant the American people are willing to be. The next time, and I guarantee there will be a next time, theyre going to push the envelope further.
Bingo!
Government is comprised of people and all people tend toward corruption, as our Founding Fathers knew all too well. Human nature never changes.
We are being trained to accept confinement, next time with a possible military flavor, for whatever reason our Overlords desire. We cant do that, FRiends. We must not.
The time draws near for Patriots to decide which hill they are willing to die upon, which right is inviolable, then start preparing against that grim day. At what point will you say, Hell no! and mean it, with your full heart and soul? At what point will you pledge your life, your fortune and your sacred honor?
Go buy a little more ammo, just because.

I believe we will see a repeat of this each flue season, until people have had enough and just ignore the edicts en-mass.
I should say “if”, because I’m not seeing any indication we collectively have the spine anymore.

IMHO, most of us have grudgingly accepted social distancing and remaining in our homes more out of a sense of civic duty and respect for the health of our fellows...I don’t like it one bit, and never have thought it was a good idea long run, but it’s the policy agreed upon, so went along for the above reasons...
American character has changed over the past generation; as a people we’ve become more docile, so you may be right...But the health police should not count on it in every case...
There are sure to be a few rams left among the flock...

the governmnent should enlist healthcare workers and set up temporary centers for quarantining the sickest of cases. let others go back to work.Hmmmmm they used to have a name for places like that. Hospitals I think they were.
To: Enlightened1
Americans have meekly surrendered their liberties to what will lilely be shown to be an overblown panic. In states were the number of confirmed cases and deaths remain low, the patience of the American people is wearing thin and more and more will begin to ignore the draconian government mandates. I expect their dissatisfaction with how things were handled on a state level will be strongly expressed at the ballot box in November. Democrat members of Congress who fiddled with impeachment while the country burned will be voted out in droves. Trump will be reelected drspite attempts to steal the elevtion. When the economy is on its knees what will Democrats propose but more taxes, open borders and job killing Green Nee Deal initiatives.
