Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) dropped out of the Democratic presidential race, paving the way for former Vice President Joe Biden to win the 2020 nomination.
Sanders was unable to build on his early momentum in the race after wins in New Hampshire and Nevada as well as virtual tie in Iowa, going on to lose a string of states to Biden after the former vice president consolidated the support of moderate Democrats.
The departure marks Sanders's second failed attempt at the Democratic nomination after he came up short in his 2016 challenge against former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
The 2016 campaign did, however, vault Sanders to household name status after he cobbled together a loyal base of support from largely young voters who grew enamored with his progressive policies and efforts to push the party further left.

Well if Biden no longer has to campaign the Democrats may be able to drag him into the Convention...where he will step down in favor of...don’t know yet.
And this time he didn’t even get a beach house out of the deal.

I think Cuomo’s a nasty, arrogant, and corrupt @ss, but if he’s the best the DNC’s got, would they throw him up against Trump, possibly destroying Cuomo in a blow-out election?
Even with the WuFlu, Trump’s support is still strong.

Most will still take Biden over Trump, and those who won't will probably be outnumbered by the never-Trumpers who will vote for Biden.

Totally agree .... just making the point that Biden, while the nominee, is not who the DemonRats intend to be acting president if somehow they managed to pull it off.

Bernie needs a beach house along with his lake house, otherwise known as his summer camp.
So Biden will be coronated as king of the Dims, likely preceded by a speech by Billary, Inc., Obama, ect.
Can’t he buy copies of his own book and then give them away still getting the royalties? I think this is how he paid for his houses.
