If Herr DeWine closed the parks in Ohio, I’d be going to jail. But, they are letting minor offenders out of jail to avoid covid-19.

I read the order and explanation. Trouble keeping facilities sanitized. Probable lawsuits from snowflakes if C19 caught in state parks.I get it.

Very disappointed in Abbott. Was hoping he would be the one to lead the way out of this madness...

Once these politicians get a taste of absolute power it’s very difficult to get them to back the f**k off. This entire lockdown will leave a very nasty mark on this nation.

Somewhere, somehow, the serfs were managing to find some small joy in getting outside. This will cease immediately!

How about a notice that all facilities are closed and not maintained, but let people go into the parks and forests if they are willing to anyway?? Really disappointed in Governor Abbott.

“Very disappointed in Abbott. Was hoping he would be the one to lead the way out of this madness...”

They’re on a roll now. I was listening in on a meeting of our local government when someone was explaining how thin the emergency services are stretched. The hospitals are empty, I hear nothing on the scanner, I hear no sirens, I see no cops. NOTHING. The constant bombardment from the media and especially NPR is, ‘we’re all gonna die’, unless we dress up like the government tells us and remain locked in our homes. I notice Congress went home, so it’s not scaring them.

Where are the millions of bodies? Do we have to take Bill Gates vaccine before we’re free?

They’ve already furloughEd 900 drs/nurses/hospital staff in my town. Nothing for them to do. Kids on bikes, chalking driveways, car parades for birthdays ~ this is SO ridiculous Haven’t yet seen the bodies lining the streets. The “projections”” keep going down, but the noose keeps tightening 😫

“ Are all the Public Employee’s being LAID OFF too??”

Good question, and of course we know the answer is not just no but hell no, never. Schools and government offices are closed all over the country. How many public employees have been laid off? How many have missed a paycheck? How many have lost 40% of their retirement fund?

It’s pretty easy to support shutdowns when you have no skin in the game and you lose nothing.

Abbott is a step up from Perry, but he’s still corrupt.

Well Walmart is being sued so maybe. The scumbag trail lawyers could get the grocery stores and carry out shut down.
That happens we will know what misery is.

The hair model, John Edwards, had one thing right. There are two Americas. The private sector and the public. Right now a large swath of the private sector has been given a massive gut punch, while much of the public sector has either a full paid vacation, been dropped to part time at full pay or had their work loads reduced.

And the private sector funds that.

Yes, I'm bitter.

This will not be fun. I’m looking forward to the nice weather SO I CAN GO TO A (fornicating) PARK and watch the birdies, rather than my 4 walls.

What the hell else are they going to strip from us? The “cure” has been worse than the disease. I’ll remember this after this horse$hit is over.
